The waiting room was crowded, but staff is very nice. The doctor went through all my concerns and was very calm and thorough. My issues warranted medication, and for each he told me when I should see results by, and to reschedule if I didn't. He asked additional history questions to assure there couldn't be any other causes. When I realized a medication was not called in and I was missing some notes I called the office. The doctor called me back personally, called in the missing medication, and clarified anything my notes were lacking. He also apologized for the error. And again, asked if there was anything else. My results could not be any better! I laugh now because looking back, pre-surgery, I was so afraid of altering my body and never being able to "go back" if it didn't turn out for the better, but it's honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. I don't know why people would say it's a money-hungry office because it really is great work, great service, and great pre-surgery and post follow-up monitoring/discussions (you wouldn't trust or want a medical procedure from a place called Clearance Surgery would you?). I believe that you get what you pay for, and he's not just a cosmetic specialist who performs procedures only half-knowing what he's doing, he's a real MD, which not many cosmetic specialists can say. The staff is personable, gets to know you, and always makes sure you're informed and feel good about any questions or concerns you may have -- they're not people who just try to talk you into something. They are there on the phone or in-person pre- and post-surgery whenever you have the smallest or biggest of questions. Dr. Mandell-Brown met with me multiple times before the actual surgery discussing what would be the best, most healthy, and "natural" choice for my body type and what I was looking for. He even gives you "homework" so you know what you're going through and so he knows what you're looking to achieve -- by the time surgery day arrives, he knows what's right for you and what you're comfortable with and you both have the same vision. The post-surgery service is beyond great. He saw me the next day, following weeks, and every few months after my surgery to keep tabs on and monitor the work. What was really nice was that he and the assistants present on surgery day call you in the morning, afternoon, and night in the days following the surgery to check in on you and see how you're doing. I just had my one year appointment yesterday and he was just as helpful and informative as the day I walked in, and they scheduled another appointment for the future to continue that monitoring. I would recommend Dr. Mandell-Brown to anyone looking for a quality, natural-looking procedure. He really is the best!

Then they go ahead and charge again for hospital services, as if the treatment were being given in a hospital instead of their offices. Service is by residents and interns rather than their house physicians, and they often leave you waiting for hour or more. They put a tiny bandage on my "surgery" and it bled all down my arm after I left the office, and I had to return to get the wart re-frozen. What's more, insurance didn't cover a lot of this, so I had to pay even more for this than I did for a recent hospitalization of two weeks!

I kindly informed Renee, the owner, but still paid in full and was not even offered a replacement service. Recently, I've been dealing with serious health issues, including possible lymphoma/breast cancer. I woke up the morning of my scheduled appointment with a 103.6 fever. I immediately called, texted, and emailed the office. Rather than being met with compassion, I was met with rudeness and told I would be charged the full amount because I've had too many same-day cancellations. I even offered to come in sick to avoid the charge, which was declined. I strongly suspect the same esthetician who botched my facial was the one responding anonymously through the office text, as they avoid accountability by using no names or signatures. When I informed them I wanted to cancel my membership due to the poor treatment, they simply replied that it was 'for the best.' They then continued to antagonize me via text, even after I asked for all communication to cease. To make matters worse, they took my $150 membership credit for the month and canceled me without providing the service. After years of loyalty, it became clear they didn't value me as a client--likely because I don't fill my face with Botox and filler like their higher-paying Montgomery clientele. I also don't purchase their overpriced skincare, but I did invest in regular facials, massages with natural upgrades, and referred many new clients their way. Apparently, that loyalty meant nothing. If you're looking for a place that values relationships and treats all clients with respect--not just the ones spending big bucks--do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
