She stormed off and said "I'm going to get my manager" and never did. She had an attitude when asked why overbook patients and she got upset and told me they only had one machine. Hence my question of overbooking! If you don't have the proper tools then call patients and let them know. It is not that difficult to pick up the phone and place a courtesy call. But I was surprised with how well everything went! From pre-op to post-op, I was fully informed about the procedure and what to expect. The nursing staff at the surgery center professional, helpful and caring. The anesthesia was perfect with no pain or even discomfort. And Dr. Turner's skill and experience have given me the ability to see clearly without glasses for the first time since I was six years old!

So much pain, loss of work, depression, and loss of activities where good sight is needed. He was having trouble with it and he was taken to the ER. After several calls in several days he came to the hospital. He told my family that the surgery would be at 1:30. At 7 pm he finally got the surgery done. Part of the cataract was left and his lense was sideways. He was hallucinating and when he went into the hospital last Saturday they tested him for everything. It was determined that it was his eye. So now surgery was done late on Friday and he and 3 other patient had a follow-up at 2:30. The Dr never showed up. When contacted he said he was ill. When asked if he did the surgery ill, he said maybe. When asked what now the Dr hung up. I will be following up with whatever authority that handle his license to let them know of our experience and how he is currently treating his patients. Completely uncaring and bad demeanor for an incompetent eye Dr.

They told me they accept BCBS, but that BCBS doesn't cover my contact lense fitting, my visit, or my refraction. I believe that is something they should have informed me of prior to my visit. I just needed to get a refill for my contacts...that's it. They dialated my eyes without asking, they charged me for a contact fitting that I didn't need and then presented me with a $150 bill. They also had THE WORST customer service. When I was surprised by the bill the receptionist said "It's not my job to tell you what your insurance covers." Actually, it is. Then I get another bill from them for $127 worth of charges. This place is a joke. The staff is unfriendly, the doctor is weird and standoffish, and it's one of the dirtiest clinics I've ever been in. Save yourself the trouble and avoid it.

I set our appointments up about 6 months ago (when we KNEW we didn't want to go back to our last Dr.) The receptionist was friendly and helpful. My husband had an appointment at 9, mine was at 10. He said he wasn't taken back until 9:30 and was a little (annoyed?) with the wait. I didn't have as long of a wait, maybe, 10 minutes. All the staff here were simply wonderful! We REALLY liked Dr. Urias! He was so friendly and personable. Dr. Urias listened to my story of my previous nightmare-of-an-office-experience and reassured me that this visit would be different. AND IT WAS! IT WAS WONDERFUL. I have complete confidence in his knowledge. My husband dropped his eye glass Rx next door at Eye Mart. So convenient! Glasses within an HOUR! I ordered contacts and they were ready for pick up within 5 days (slight delay due to the Christmas holiday). We HIGHLY recommend!!
