We needed a downspout added in an area that didn't have one and Gilbert worked with us to figure out the best place to add it while being mindful of my aesthetic preference for where to place it. Our new seamless gutters and the downspouts they made look amazing! We're so happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gilbert to family and friends for gutter work. It was no big deal and I agreed to the higher price, but the technicians came to do the work with the lower price. Again, no big deal, but still confusing because it's not clear what I'm paying and price should be clear (especially if you are pre-writing a check). I confirmed the time of my appointment on several occasions which made it confusing when my technicians arrived an hour later than they should have and I had to ask for an ETA on their arrival. I suggest rather than committing to an exact time, provide a range and flexibility. That way customers can decide if that range works for them. Being on time and providing status updates if you're going to be late is a professional curtesy especially for customers on tight timelines. The cleaning was done nicely, but I did later notice spots in corners that were missed (i.e., behind doors). The front porch area was cleaned, but then the technician blew leaves back on it. They do answer their phones unlike other competitors that you just cannot seem to get ahold of no matter what. However, their power washing is a lot higher price than other competitors. Unfortunately I don't have time to have them come back out and fix anything they might have missed. I'm strapped for time as is. I'd work on communication, attention to detail, and leaving the place clean. Also, consider putting before and after pictures in some sort of written professional document like a PDF you can leave with the customer same day with a receipt before you leave.

Bobby, the owner, is very personable, knowledgeable, responsive and reasonable priced. He came out in July and gave me a quote to high pressure wash my roof, repair 11 leaking gutter seams and install aluminum gutter filters. Work was performed in August and then we received about ¼" of rain in September. I was surprised when 5 of the gutter seams and 1 of my downspouts were leaking! Good thing there is a 1 year warranty. Bobby responded quickly and scheduled the repair. One week later, I found a bag of metal screws was left on my lower roof. Overall, I am happy with Bobby and his employee Nate, but I feel the attention to detail by other employees was lacking. One of the branches on my plant was damaged as they dragged the hose around, some of the lower tiles - which were removed to accommodate the gutter filters - were not repositioned correctly, the 6 leaks and finding the bag of metal screws. I feel hopeful the improvements will be beneficial with our upcoming wet winter, but curious how my gutters seams will hold. On a personal note, if you have your roof power washed, I recommend you unhook your downspout rain barrel and cover your sprinkler valves - it was my mistake not to cover them and it caused more work for myself.

Someone recommended getting the panels cleaned. I saw a sign for Sierra Maintenance leaving our neighborhood and decided to give them a call. After they cleaned the panels, I noticed a lower SMUD bill the next month and in the subsequent months and even to this day. They also send before and after pictures which show just how filthy the panels can get. They also cleaned our gutters this time which I didn't realize had a ton of gunk in them. Our home is two-story ~ 4k sq foot. We have about 12 panels and it was ~$200 to clean them plus another $360 to clean the gutters.
