They are often overcrowded. Long waiting times. The quality of their glasses is below par. I bought several glasses from them, and all of them scratch terribly! Even though I pay for the top protection available. Now, less than a year since I got my glasses, and I went to my opthomologist, they tested my eyes, and my prescription is way off from 7 months ago. I asked since they have to replace my broken and scratched glasses. Could they put in my new updated Rx i just got from my opthomologist. They say no! That is ridiculous. read more

I purchased new eye glasses from Eye Doctors Optical Outlets in Zephyrhills FL on March 14th and was told I would have them in 1 week, well tried to contact them this morning and my new glasses will not be available until April 8th....I am not at all pleased!!! read more

I needed to update my prescription and purchase a new set of glasses. Everything went smoothly. If I had questions, the associates were helpful and friendly. I have read past reviews on here and was hesitant to come here but everything went very well, and really efficient. Total time spent there was probably 1hour. I had the worst eye exam ever. I have worn glasses for over 20 years. So I know a good eye exam. Dilation drops applied at the time of the refraction. Then he looked in my eyes and said all good. 15 minutes after I left my eyes were fully dilated. Worst exam ever. Dr. Daniel Yee. read more

At first, I've made a purch of two pairs of glasses and they sent me the inforrect pair of glasses that belongs to another customer; and also, they included with the two pair of glasses, documents with personal information about the other customer: name, address, phone number, prescription, etc. Finally, after making call to the district manager, they sent me the correct ones, but bad quality and bad manufacture. Also, the optometrist exam, was a crap. At the end, I've put those two pairs in the trash can. Today, I went again to Optical Outlet in Zephyrhills to place an order using my own Ray Ban frame, and they charged me $139.96 for standard progressive plastic lenses; without any warranty and making pressure to sign a release. It is ridiculous to pay that amount for a regular plastic lens without any other treatment. read more

Very heavy mold smell there and I am allergic to mold...finally had to leave. I was very disoriented the rest of that day! It is the only optical approved by Florida Blue..I had no choice. I will not go back. read more

Paid extra for "anti glare coating". Received glasses that are terribly blurry and no amount of wiping gets rid of. I tried putting up with it, but my vision is much worse while wearing them. read more

Got 2 pairs of sunglasses for a decent deal they had going on, and they offered me a reasonably priced warranty which I took up thankfully, as one of my pairs broke. Paid the $25 deductible and am waiting on the replacement. The young lady Molly has been keeping me updated and is even holding off on the charge until she can guarantee a better timeline for when they'll be in, as they were out of stock at the time. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. We drove above 40min it's in the heavy rain to get to an appointment scheduled for 12:50pm and was told once we got there (after they had taken all of our information and insurance information) that the Dr. Daniel Yee, went to lunch and in order to be seen, we would have to wait until he's back from lunch. This doctor went to lunch during a blocked off/scheduled appointment time. Ridiculous! I should have known that something didn't sit right when the employees, themselves, were afraid to talk to the doctor and I overheard one employee tell another employee, "I'm afraid to go into his office". To which another employee just responded, "just hide behind your desk." This office is completely unorganized, unprofessional and lacks the basic customer service approach necessary to offer health care to the public. The fact that employees are scared to ask questions for their patients is a red flag! Additionally, the lack of professionalism of Dr. Daniel Yee shows his pure interest in the salary of the profession and not helping patients. He is a disgrace to the profession many of my family members and I have honored and loved and is in every way distanced himself from the Hippocratic Oath he once promised to emulate in his practice. Not only will I leave a Google review but you can count on seeing several reviews on multiple platforms like ZocDoc and Social Media, and this will be reported to my insurance provider. If I could save another person from making the same mistake as I did for choosing this practice, I would have done the world a favor. read more

I had an appointment and watched walk-ins taken in before us. I asked about it and the assistant manager was rude. After the exam, we waited for 40 minutes, and still didn't get waited on. So we had to ask to pay the bill so we could leave. I asked to speak to the manager and she also has no customer service skills. I DO NOT recommend. read more

I can't believe I will ever hear from a manager. Guess that was a lie. I guess their thing is to scam insurance companies but you can bet I will let them know I still don't have my glasses. I wouldn't have given them a one star but I couldn't post without a rating. Week 3 and still no call from a manager. They still have my glasses and I'm not going to pick them up until I get a call. Another week has passed and still no call from a manager. Almost a month. The manager must be real busy. I am going to stop later and cancel my order. Run away! I purchased two pair of glasses. I was amazed by their lack of knowledge. I had to ask what license the doctor had. I only went there because they were on my insurance list of providers. I went with a prescription from a cataract specialist and they didn't even know what it was that he prescribed. So I had another exam by their doctor. When they made the glasses, I couldn't see with them. They were supposed to be trifocals with a prism but after I got them and couldn't see, after I prepaid for them, they told me the lab couldn't make them as prescribed. They were not willing or able to work toward a satisfactory solution. I asked to see the manager, waited 45 minutes, and then was sent back to the trained-by-rote receptionist for resolution as the manager was not accessible to me. They gave me her phone number but you guessed it, she did not answer and did not return my call. They refused to return my money. I guess I'll have to eat it, and start over with a competent Dr. and staff elsewhere even if I have to pay again, out of network. Do NOT go here. read more

The Zephyrhills Store is the worst to deal with. My husband was scheduled on 08/22 for an eye exam and glasses, as his current glasses were broken and was told they couldn't be fixed. Glasses were ordered on 08/22 and was told it would take 2 weeks, 3 weeks later we called along with our Insurance company VSP to find out the the order was sent to the wrong lab, and it was just caught so they have reordered them from the correct lab and he should have them before the 17th. They also told the the Insurance rep at VSP that they would make arrangements for him to come into the store and pick up his glasses because of the issues he has now endured. Well guess what that isn't happening either. He called this morning and was told they just left the lab yesterday afternoon at 3 pm so we won't have them tomorrow either all they can assume is possibly by the end of the week. This is the worst customer service and I wouldn't even trust them with the care of rabid raccoon. If you value your eyes I suggest you find someone who actually values their customers. read more
