I brought in my glasses that I don't like and sunglasses as an example of what fits great, since I wanted to be comfortable sitting at the computer for long periods of time. I was hoping for a conversation about similar options for bi-weekly contacts for people with astigmatism, since it's a new condition for me, but nope. I was hoping the lady could help me with my face measurements or tell me what a good option would be for the bridge piece that I could explore so they don't always slide off, but nope. I felt like a nuisance and stopped talking after the conversation just seemed to be a whole lot of "I don't know" and "I don't order online." Super disappointed and I'll take my chances with somewhere cheaper, since I didn't care about the cost at Target Optical. I just wanted help! The business appears to have changed ownership and now is part of New Tampa Eye Institute, but at last contact, they did not even have a sign with their new name -- this review was left with the old name because the internet and searches using their new name failed to find them. 6. I had to go to Miami for "Corneal Cross-linking" procedure and Dr. Tratter also told me what good hands I was in for my follow up appointments and contact fittings. His "bedside mannor" is rare, and very welcoming in today's world. It's obvious he looks at my chart before he sees me and knows what to ask, look for and how he relate. Too many other Doctors have their technicians do all the work and they come in and give their 2 cents and exit quickly. I have never felt rushed, or have ever felt like he was rushed either. Went to have an appointment for the first time with my son. I spent over $100 with insurance for…read morejust for the visit it appears. I asked for the prescription and they said it wasn't set. We got another appointment but kept having to reschedule because I have a special needs child. When I tried to set another appointment to get the actual prescription I should have gotten on the first try, they said I owe a fee for the cancelled appointments AND I have to pay for another appointment where I may or may not get the prescription again. Don't go there, they make you pay extra one way or another. They make you wait at least 30 minutes after your appointment time. They shove another sales opportunity at you with the eye therapy... conveniently not covered by insurance.
