She was insanely thorough and did several exams to get me answers. She showed me my eyes were having an angry histamine response. It used to be a flat fee of $60 now they have it on a tier level based on the prescription. When I questioned the front desk, they said more supplies are used, well during exam nothing, nothing changed at all!!! I will now be looking for a new eye care doctor. The greedy of the large corporations is getting out of control. My insurance doesn't cover the contact prescription exam, only the annual exam which includes glasses. So out of pocket was over $98 just to get my prescription for contacts. Then they will still bill my insurance for another payment.

In 2023, my total was: Frames: $210 Lenses: $60 Exam: $60 Total: $330 Fast forward to December 2025: Frames: $330 (same frames) Lenses: $100 Exam: $99 That's a massive jump in just two years. When I went to pick up my glasses (after waiting for them to come in), I questioned the pricing because I genuinely thought it might be a mistake. I was then told that since I "upgraded" after the first mis-order, I actually owe them more money. What?? The front desk told me the suggested retail was $264 and that they mark that up -- somehow that becomes over $330. Meanwhile, the suggested retail on the original frames is $227, which means they're marking them up over 45%. Just wow. I chose to leave without causing a scene, but the combination of repeated ordering errors, dismissive customer service, and dramatic price increases is unacceptable. Patients deserve accountability, transparency, and fair pricing. Unfortunately, I experienced none of that here. I will be taking my business elsewhere

We didn't know it at the time, but today was her last day with the retail optical chain and we were her last patient appointment. She was down to earth, witty and professional. Nathaly helped us pick out the perfect pair of Ray-Ban glasses while staying within budget. She was personable and her electric smile made us feel welcome. From the receptionist, to technician and the optician the most callous, nasty and sarcastic bunch I have come across in years. Myself and another patient were there early for appointments (9:00 and 9:20), the hours listed on the door were 8 to 5 M-F. The door was locked. A third party came by a few minutes to 9 for an appointment or walk-in, read the hours, looked at me and the stranger waiting outside and got in his car and drove off. Someone strolled in a few minutes to 9 walked past us without comment, opened the door with keys, and locked the door. From there things got ugly. I got write a short story on these "workers" attitude but they're not work the effort. Just beware.
