my wife and I waited more than 30 minutes before anyone inside your office even acknowledged we were there. No "good morning" "we're busy, can you hold on a minute" nothing. I found it odd, especially as there were 3 people in the front. It was my wife's first and definitely her last time going. I've been going to your office for at least 4yrs and this was not a good visit and I have had complaints about your office staff before. Your new doctor is very good and we both liked her, she was very apologetic for what happened. One last thing, we were the only people in the reception area. read more

I came on a good quiet day where I was able to be seen right away with my scheduled appointment. I appreciate that they don't use the eye pressure machine that puffs in your eye as that can make many patients uncomfortable. The doctor was great, she explained to me the condition of my eyes and was very patient. I only give 4 stars because they don't have a large selection of frames but the prices were decent . Pick up time is in a week or so! read more

My wife and I walked in and started looking at some glasses/frames on the walls. There were 3 people behide the counter but not one ask if they could help us. I asked about some pricing on one self and one girl said yes they are all that price. We walked out and noone ever said anything else. No one said Hi or bye, we thought it was kind of stange but oh well. We purchased glasses else where. read more

First time I've ever walked into a place needing glasses so I am not familiar with the "process" but I have a prescription so I thought I could walk in here and ask questions.... But the guy who runs this place was strangely obnoxious towards me and had an attitude from the beginning..... His attitude towards me while I was looking for my insurance info was completely unprofessional and felt borderline racist. Learn some customer service skills you f'n prick, and your mask policy is ridiculous, I respectfully asked for one right when I walked in but the entitled Democrat owner acted like I was a piece of trash anyway... I have been going here for several years and each time there seems to be an issue. Prior times, the receptionist tried to bill me for items that my insurance was to cover. This time I met with a new doctor and she mentioned to me about a glaucoma test. I told her I understand that she wants me to have it, but I dont trust doctors anymore and I am dealing with hurricane damage right now and so it is not a priority. She said she understood and I thought the conversation was over. Today however, (a day later), I received a call from the OTHER office she works at and they wanted to schedule the glaucoma exam. I was floored that my information was shared with another location (without my consent) and then angered since I just said this was not a priority at the moment. Im sorry to report that I am now done with this location. Sad too because I really liked Yaeckel but over having to deal with some other issue every time I visit. read more

Had an excellent first visit at their office. Very nice, modern space. Staff was pleasant and professional. Dr. Yaeckel is wonderful - warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. She is actually interested in hearing your background and knowing about any previous issues with your eyes. Super pleased that I chose her practice for myself and my husband. read more

I love seeing the doctor for my eye examination however the tech she has working on glasses is not very customer oriented nor is her current receptionist. They are not welcoming and the optician would not work on my eyeglasses because I did not buy them there. read more

Super nice staff and very quick service. I'm not a client here and just needed a couple new screws in my frames and they were so sweet about it compared to other stores I called and wouldn't even look at the frames without my insurance info. Highly recommend this place just because how nice everyone is, I'm sure when I need glasses or an eye doctor in the future this is where I'll go. read more

I had a great experience at Optical Outfitters when I went there to have a prescription filled for athletic sunglasses. They were able to select a pair that was a good fit for my face and an appropriate design for my sport. Later, when I accidentally knocked a lens out due to some rough handling, they quickly replaced it and also repaired two other pairs I glasses that I had bought somewhere else while I waited. Very pleased with this company and highly recommend. read more

The Dr. is very nice, but gave a wrong prescription. Sunglasses are seriously over priced and the guy selling frames was not helpful at all, he was kind of rude. After getting sunglasses, the prescription was wrong. Paid out of pocket to have an exam by a different ophthalmologist who confirmed Optical outfitters prescription was wrong. Had to fight for a full refund. I would not recommend thus business. read more

The doctor and the staff here are very nice and professional. The office staff is organized and helpful. Your appointment time happens within 5-10 minutes of your scheduled time (no waiting around for 30-40 minutes) which is greatly appreciated. Glasses and contacts come in when expected. read more
