I am not a fan of such business practices and do not recommend this dentist. A patient should always have the choice to either consent or decline service in these situations.

First, Gabby at the front desk is so polite, patient and caring. I have a crazy schedule and sometimes I have to change my appointments (a few times) and she is understanding, enthusiastic and bubbly. Sonalee is the sweetest assistant. She loves every patient, will talk and listen to you and you feel you are in good hands. Most importantly Dr Pojtek is so ethical. If your tooth can be saved with a filling which she makes much less money, she will save your tooth. Most dentist offices want to put a crown on every tooth, not Dr Pojtek. I always tell her she has my never ending loyalty. I recommend this office 100%.

I scheduled my appointment without thinking about the fact that I needed to get in and out in an hour to be able to pick up my baby from daycare. I've been to many doctor's appointments and this would have made me stressed because I've found they rarely run on time, however, I've learned this office is super efficient so I actually wasn't that concerned. I told my dental hygienist upfront that I was picking up my son right after and she immediately said let's get you in and out then! When she was done with my cleaning I actually heard her telling Dr. Redd that I had someplace to be. In turn, he was super quick with my check. I really appreciate that and I scheduled my next appointment when I have more time. I actually got out in fifty minutes and I didn't feel like I was rushed at all. I also appreciate how they have little water bottles in the waiting room. They also have cookies. When I'm waiting there's usually just me or just me and one other person so I know they don't over schedule. Whenever anyone asks about a dentist, I always highly recommend Dr. Redd. This office is fantastic.

Everyone greets you with a smile and takes the time to make you feel comfortable. The hygienist was extremely gentle and thorough. It didn't feel rushed or impersonal at all. What I liked most is that there was absolutely no pressure. They clearly explained everything, showed me pictures, and were very respectful of my pace. When discussing future work, they said we could go over it at my next visit so I wouldn't feel overwhelmed--that meant a lot. Overall, the team is professional, kind, and genuinely caring. I'd gladly drive the extra distance to keep coming here. Highly recommend.

I was in some pain (5 out of 10) They said they could perform the work right away and sent in an attractive young lady who told me my portion would be $1415.10. I was thinking "I thought I had excellent insurance thru Delta, but maybe I was wrong" She kept pushing "pay the amount and you will be all set, your pain will be gone and the work will be complete" I felt like I was at a used car dealership, I'm in sales and recognized the sales techniques. Against my better judgement I had the work performed. The assistant Michael was very polite and caring, the dentist was nice, it was a tough extraction but she did it successfully. The next day, after the fog wore off I checked with Delta Dental Insurance and discovered MY INSURANCE WOULD COVER 80-90% OF THIS SERVICE.!!!! Also, the Delta Rep told me the maximum reasonable and customary allowance was around $770.00. THEY CHARGED ME DOUBLE.!!!! (They did give me a small discount $141.00) which I appreciated. How can a business do this to a customer???? How can they sleep at night treating people this way????? My primary dentist I go to in Riverview is SO awesome and ethical. She charges the required amount and does not over-sell you on anything. Maybe I got spoiled. Please beware.
