I came in to get new lenses for my kid's existing frames (re-lensed), and they quoted me $210. Target was $180, and Costco was just $80. The manager guy said it would be cheaper if we picked a frame from their selection. I joked that my kid was really attached to his frames & you should ask him if he wants to change his frames! Instead of a normal response, he coldly shot back, 'You're the parent.' Oh okay, ya unfunny Bill Burr looking jerk. So yea, I took my business elsewhere. Wouldn't recommend this visionworks. Watch your total at the end to make sure they didn't put any upgrades on the lenses, frames, etc, as they tried to do with me. When I mentioned I didn't ask for that they took the extra expenses off with no problems nor pushback.

I have them in hand and nobody bothered with me the entire time I was there. I even sat down right in front of the reception area for almost 5 minutes and yet nobody bothered to acknowledge me. I myself have worn that combination of perfumes for a couple of years now and I know when it's overwhelming, and I swear my sinuses are still dripping from it.

I asked for some time to think about it and declined to sign on the spot. Later, I called and asked them to email my daughter's prescription since I had already paid for the exam and lens fitting. The staff initially told me they would not provide the prescription unless we enrolled in their $3,400 program, which was very concerning. After insisting, they said they would send the glasses prescription the same day, but nothing was sent. When I called again on March 4, 2026, another employee told me to go to another provider. After the call was supposedly disconnected, I could still hear two employees from the contact lens department talking. They began mocking and insulting me, calling me "crazy" and making other rude remarks while laughing. One of them even said "Dr. K wants to get rid of her." This continued for several minutes until they realized I was still on the line and quickly ended the call saying OMG I think she's recording, This level of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior toward a patient is shocking, especially from a medical clinic. I do not recommend this place. In my experience, they seemed more focused on pushing expensive programs than treating patients with professionalism and respect.

The staff's professionalism, friendliness, and exceptional service are commendable. However, my concern lies in the absence of a backup plan for the single individual responsible for fulfilling eyeglass prescriptions, especially during their unavailability. In my view, it's imperative to expedite the training process for someone else to ensure continuity. If hiring a full-time or part-time employee isn't feasible, I strongly believe that considering a contract hire is a necessary step.
