I do not recommend this place at all. I took my son for his annual exam. The woman up front asked me if he was doing a contact lens fitting to which I replied "No, I will order them online" clearly not understanding what that entailed. She should have known from there to maybe explain to me that I wouldn't be able to order contacts. I didn't want to purchase in store and he had previously had a fitting the prior year. I didn't want to spend more than I needed to at this visit. but I didn't know he needed a new fitting every year for a contact lens prescription! Anyway we got the exam we bought glasses. When they came in they were super thick and had a coke bottle effect and my 8th grader was just not going to wear them and be bullied which I talked to them about and they said the couldn't do anything. I went to the car, googled it, and found online it said Poly carbonate lenses are slimmer. I go back inside to ask them for this and they all had an attitude. The woman who sold me the glasses and the office manager. EVEN HAD HIM PICK OUT A DIFFERENT FRAME to help with the thinness of the lenses. I signed a waiver, fine. Paid out of pocket for the different lenses, fine. GOT THE GLASSES AND THEY WERE STILL SOOOOO THICK. his eyes look tiny in the glasses he is at a -5.5 and -6.25 I have spoken with people with a higher prescription and their glasses do not look like that! but I just took the glasses the second time, I didn't have it in me to be told there was nothing they could do and it would be useless. so there goes ~$500+ down the drain A few months later, I emailed asking for my son's prescription because he was low on contacts and I had to get some ordered. This is when they tell me he doesn't have a contact lens prescription because I turned it down at the time of the exam. and that I was outside of the window to have it done without needing a completely different exam which would now not be covered by insurance and all would be completely out of pocket. They didn't care to explain anything at the time of the exam, at the time of choosing glasses, at the time of picking up the glasses. They just did not care at all, had a terrible attitude, and did not at all make me think they care about my son as a patient who has been coming to them for years! Zero stars. do better. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The office manager, Esmeralda, was extremely rude and unprofessional. They made a mistake with my mother's glasses, and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, they blamed her--claiming she told the eye doctor she didn't need glasses for reading. That's absolutely false, as the only reason she uses glasses is to read. Last I checked, it's the doctor's responsibility to determine what the patient actually needs. When I tried to explain the situation to the first person I spoke with, I was told, "There's nothing we can do; you just need to come in so we can fix it." There was no apology, no accountability--just an attempt to shift the blame to the patient for their own mistake. This level of unprofessionalism and lack of customer care is unacceptable. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Since I can't replay to your message I will update my review. First and foremost, thank you for assisting my mother. On ensure she has the correct glasses moving forward. However, I would like to clarify that my mother did not state that there was any confusion between us. She was seated next to me when I spoke with your staff, and the information communicated was accurate. I believe there is an opportunity for improvement in customer service at the management level. My concern is not about assigning fault, but rather about how the situation was handled. Esmeralda's demeanor came across as rude and unprofessional. A simple apology for the inconvenience would have gone a long way toward resolving the matter, regardless of who was responsible. Thank you for your attention to this feedback. read more

They not only cared about all my needs and concerns the staff is friendly right when you walk in the door. They were very thorough, transparent and most important they treated me like a human. Mylene made my first day here quick and easy, she walked me through everything. Esme is the sweetest, she gave me all the best options and stayed within my price range. I will forever be thankful for them both for helping me choose which frames fit me better, it felt like I had my sisters helping me! I went to pick out a new pair of glasses. Kelly helped me. She brought over probably 25 pairs of glasses and let me try on the ones I liked. She was very patient and professional. Took her time marking the bifocals and comparing to my current pair. I have never had anyone do that before and she was on the mark. I was impressed. read more

I initially came in for contacts here only because it was within my insurance. During my visit with the optometrist she didn't seem too interested in helping me identify the contacts I was asking for. I described them best to my knowledge and she said the ones I was talking about were RPG. It took 1 month for me to receive my contacts, only to find they were the ones I did not ask for. I opted to receive a refund and they only gave me a partial refund because they said they ordered the lenses " I asked for ". I'm not one to cause a scene. So I just agreed and received partial refund. Esmeralda was great with assisting me the whole way through. But the optometrist I strongly do not recommend. She showed no interest in sharing her knowledge and expertise on which contacts I requested. So in short they we're hybrid. I'm just taking my business elsewhere. So I never knew what it was like to own a pair of glasses that I literally forget I am wearing them!!! I have a really high astigmatism and every time I would get another pair I was constantly constantly adjusting them on my face because I could never really see clear through them and I bothered me and I hated it...... Until now!! The optician there took some measurements on me (mind you I had never been asked to do any of this ever before) so in my head I'm like ok but what is it for? They tell me these measurements are taken so we know the distance between your your pupils and we mark where your eyes are so that the lab can put your prescription right in front of your eyes. I never had this done before. I will never go anywhere else!! And Dr. Beaty is very informative ! She answers any and all questions or concerns you may have. She doesn't just rush you through to get you done, she makes sure you leave knowing you recieved top quality care individualized just for you! Not to mention her office staff complete your treatment and experience there. Her front desk staff and opticians will make your experience a great one. They believe in their products and what they sell. They offer you what they would offer their own family. So that means something to me. I brought in my son, brother, mother, and neice, and step father, they are all patients here as well. Overall I am 100% satisfied with my glasses my service, and treatment. I received a call today explaining that my glasses had been delivered and signed for by someone at Pearl Vision who had them for over a week. I appreciate how polite the staff were but still feel there was a huge lack of communication. I feel the staff are very friendly and did their best to correct the situation. They were very apologetic for the situation and even gave me a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. I'm pleased with my glasses and my eye exam and will have my husband go there for his next eye exam. I will also return next year for my yearly exam as I still feel this facility and staff are top notch. read more

It's been four or more years since I got an eye exam. After hearing good things about Optic Gallery Nellis, I made an appointment and came in for an eye exam. My eyes have definitely gotten worse in those four years! The exam was thorough but easy, and the technician made me feel super comfortable. Dr. Beaty then came in and talked to me about options and finished my exam so we could get the prescription just right. Optic Gallery Nellis also has a lot of cute eyeglass options. I ended up choosing a pair of BCBG Max Azria lenses with anti-glare. I also got a sample of dry eye drops which have helped immensely--my eyes were feeling so tired from working on a computer all day. I got my glasses promptly and have been using them while I drive (which I've learned is totally essential now) and sometimes even when I'm just walking around. I can't believe how much clearer things are! These glasses already make a huge difference. I would definitely recommend Dr. Beaty and her staff, they're super professional and helpful and the service is prompt. I'll be back for any of my future eye needs. read more
