So when my hearing 8 broke, I usually just drop it off to Cindy, the audiologist, and she takes care of it. All of a sudden, now I have to be a patient of manchester ent which is fine. However, they won't see me until I have my records. Well, I don't know where my records are because the company shut down so I have to find my records. Make an appointment and then I can get my hearing aid fixed. But they could have been a lot nicer and a lot more sympathetic. I will never, ever ever go to Manchester ent. And I advise you all never too either. I hear Connecticut air notion. Throw is great I even called them, and the woman around the phone was by Wonderful

Very knowledgeable, sees everything going around so usually is "in the know" and is also soft spoken and a nice guy! He's usually able to quickly diagnose me when not feeling well - that's when and why I come here. In 2013 I came in with a mild sore throat I couldn't shake. Within 48 hours I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and seeing Radiation and Medical Oncologists. Later I learned many patients with my cancer are initially treated with antibiotics because of misdiagnosis. His proper diagnosis and speedy treatment arrangements may have saved me. Kudos to Dr. Friedman for that! Sometimes you can wait to see him longer than is appealing, but he's good and maybe that's why! For some reason I see more seniors here than any other age group but he does birth to death as far as I know. Hands down 1000% better than the new wave of walk-in clinics that feature higher co-pays and lots of nurses (APRN, RN, etc) but No M.D.'s!! Dr. Friedman's practice reminds me of the good old fashioned local family doctor that gets to know you and your family. I see HIM every time and also notice very little turnover in nurses and staff - another good sign.

By far the worst experience with a doctors office. My father needs a certain diabetes medication…read morethat he has been on for years, his insurance said they would cover it if they received a prior authorization from the Dr. Silverman. Instead of contacting the insurance company to find out out the generic medicine they would cover, they left it to us to call. Leaving him with no refills left, his sugar levels are very high at this point that he has to pay out of pocket for the medication. We finally find out from the insurance company they can keep him on the same medication that he has been on for years, if they receive the prior authorization. However Dr. Silverman instead of doing that decides he should just go with generic medicine Which we have now come to find out it has not been controlling his sugar levels. We have asked her to send the prior authorization in order to file a claim for out of pocket expenses. However the office says she is too busy to call it in and will only accept a fax. I have asked for them to retrieve the fax from their Bloomfield office Which is the number Caremark has but to No avail. It has been two months now, they said they will only accept a fax to the South Windsor office, Which is not in Caremarks system. Just going in circles at this point, when all she needs to do is take one minute to call the prior authorization line. She has now put him on another medication that is not controlling his sugar levels, she just seems to be playing around with medications instead of putting him on the medication that has worked for years. Stay away from this place, horrible experience!

She was, and from the sounds of the reviews still is, a completely uninterested, incompetent, dispassionate and dismissive human being. If health care providers were not in such short supply I doubt that she would have a job. Hopefully she will opt for early retirement.

Unfortunately, their Avon location was booked out until the end of the year so I had to go to their South Windsor location. I've been having eczema flare ups and needed to get it resolved. Prior to the appointment, they sent some documents to fill out electronically. I like that because it streamlines the appointment. The building was nice and the parking was spacious. Checking in was easy. I like that they offer late appointments; my appointment was for 5:10 pm. Dr. Waqar and her assistant came in; we discussed my issues. She was thorough and knowledgeable. The appointment took about 20 minutes total. She had a prescription sent to my pharmacy and to schedule a follow-up in two weeks. This time at the Avon location which way closer to me. Overall, a good experience so far. I will review my experience at the Avon location.
