Very knowledgeable, sees everything going around so usually is "in the know" and is also soft spoken and a nice guy! He's usually able to quickly diagnose me when not feeling well - that's when and why I come here. In 2013 I came in with a mild sore throat I couldn't shake. Within 48 hours I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and seeing Radiation and Medical Oncologists. Later I learned many patients with my cancer are initially treated with antibiotics because of misdiagnosis. His proper diagnosis and speedy treatment arrangements may have saved me. Kudos to Dr. Friedman for that! Sometimes you can wait to see him longer than is appealing, but he's good and maybe that's why! For some reason I see more seniors here than any other age group but he does birth to death as far as I know. Hands down 1000% better than the new wave of walk-in clinics that feature higher co-pays and lots of nurses (APRN, RN, etc) but No M.D.'s!! Dr. Friedman's practice reminds me of the good old fashioned local family doctor that gets to know you and your family. I see HIM every time and also notice very little turnover in nurses and staff - another good sign.

Nothing is familiar to me here, and looking for a doctor for my daughter was just one of the many new places our family would have to establish ourselves at. Thankfully, our first choice, Dr. Manuel Orta's office, has proved to be an excellent choice. Being in the healthcare field myself, which can often be a thankless job, I think it is important to recognize outstanding professionals. Dr. Orta is patient, kind, and very intelligent. Not only is he excellent with our little one, but he takes the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions & concerns. We have always used Massachusetts General Hospital, and being one of the #1 in the country, it was no surprise we were never disappointed with care from there. I truly did not believe anywhere would match up, but I am so thrilled with the services we have received from Dr. Orta's office. We recommend him to any & all!

My children have aged out of the practice. They went away to college and attended out of state schools, have since married and have even moved out of the country. Now, we need there proof of immunizations I have their baby books with Dr. Sacheti's initials in it but it is not enough for the law school form. And trying to get assistance from the office staff has been very difficult. The office staff has been rude and condescending, and the cost of the overseas call has been fruitless. The print out they gave us was incomplete and when we called for clarification our response from office staff was a horrible and a down right disrespectful experience. My child is about to enter the law school and the application requires exact information. They would not even allow me (the mother) to speak with the doctor personally or even make an appointment with her. I am sure she is unaware of how her office staff has treated a long term patient. We still do not have the information necessary to complete the immunization statistic paperwork.

Dr. doesn't seems knowledgeable and completely not bothered about the questions you ask. Seems like he forgets with in 2 minutes of what he says. Would not recommend him to anyone. Dr. Castanho, does not offer the type of care that a traditional physician offers. He is not…read more licesenced medical doctor. He is a homeopath. As such he does not accept health insurance and his office visits can be rather expensive when one has to pay out of pocket for the entire visit. He does spend a good amount of time listening to his clients, as compared to traditional medical doctors. Since he cannot prescribe medication, he will sell you his own private label vitamins and supplements as well as a "healthy" diet. Because he cannot prescribe FDA approved medicines, my results are mixed using supplements and diet. Overall I feel better, but the specific issue I went to him for remains unresolved. I have reccomend others to him.

Typically, doctors treat the symptoms of the problem but Dr. Castanho looks for the root cause of the health concern(s). I'm excited to continue working with a doctor as phenomenal as him! I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new doctor!
