The store was recommended by a friend in Toronto whose family lives in Guelph. I phoned Shuh's and spoke to Jeffrey Maclean, who arranged to have a repairman go to my friend's home in Guelph to fix his dryer. Jeffrey was totally professional. He took down all the info and told me a repairman would drop by between 9 a.m. and noon. Sure enough the repairman showed up exactly as arranged. He did a great job and fixed the dryer on the spot. The price was VERY reasonable. I highly recommend Shuh's appliance repair service. It is reliable, fairly priced, friendly and professional. I would also consider purchasing appliances from Shuh's too if I ever need any.

But that meant I didnt have access to water anymore. I couldn't make the repair myself because it was pex piping on the other side of the valve, and i didn't have the skill or tools to do it. So, I called Jaytech Plumbing and asked if they could send someone quickly. Within about 25 minutes, Tom showed up at my house from Jaytech and he was super friendly and understanding. He gave me a very affordable quote on the spot, which I agreed to and he got to work right away and fixed my issue quickly. Valve replaced, water operating perfectly again and everything was good. From the time I called Jaytech to the time my issue was fixed, it was about 1 hour. Absolutely Outstanding Performance by Jaytech. I was so happy, it lifted my spirit for the reset of the day. My experience today with Dy's speaks to their friendliness and interest in looking for ways to cut…read morecosts. When I turned on the indoor tap leading to my outdoor garden hose water gushed out inside (where it wasn't supposed to). Dy's visit #1 led to an easy diagnosis: the original bleeder cap hadn't been put on in the fall. (Prior to this I had no idea was at bleeder cap was.) The plumbers suggested that I could easily fix the problem by buying a replacement. I did this but again water gushed out after I installed it. I was prepared to pay $$$ to repair faulty indoor tubing. When I called back to set up visit #2, the plumber encouraged me to try to find the original bleeder cap and offered to look through his supply of old parts for one. It was possible there was a slight difference in the cap I bought. The second visit was promptly set up. When I looked very carefully, I did find the original bleeder cap but was gun-shy about trying again myself. Visit #2: The plumber put the original cap on. No water leaked out. I got clear instructions about what to do when I disconnect the hoses in the fall and there was no charge. My husband died several months ago and this exchange gives me reassurance that I've got good support in my own community.

I would highly recommend them for any HVAC condo installation. From our discussions, I could also recommend them for any house HVAC installation repairs. They provided assurance that they would troubleshoot and diagnose the issue before making any decisions on the parts that were failing. They were prompt for when they would arrive. They had 2 techs arrive plus a trainee - Sukhdeep, Balkar and Avtar. They explained in detail what was working and what was not. It was very beneficial and efficient to have multiple techs so they could be at the HVAC unit and thermostat. The condo service maintenance suggested the problem was the actuator. Sukhdeep and Balkar demonstrated that the actuator was working fine so that saved me from replacing a part that didn't need replacing. Their team is awesome and would highly recommend them.

****SNG Electrical Services**** ****DAY LIGHT ROBBERY ****…read more I recently had the misfortune of hiring SNG electrical for some electrical repairs in my home, and I must say that the experience was absolutely appalling. I cannot stress enough how disappointed and frustrated I am with their services. To begin with, the electrician they sent to my house seemed more interested in wasting time than actually resolving the issue at hand. It became evident that he had no intention of efficiently diagnosing the problem, as he aimlessly tinkered with various components, without any clear direction or purpose. It was apparent that he was deliberately prolonging the process to maximize the number of hours billed, which is both unethical and unacceptable. Furthermore, the electrician's work pace was remarkably slow, almost as if he had no regard for the value of my time or the urgency of the situation. Each task that should have taken a reasonable amount of time was needlessly prolonged, adding more hours to the already exorbitant bill. This deliberate sluggishness not only wasted my valuable time but also showed a complete lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. To add insult to injury, when the final bill arrived, I was appalled by the exorbitant amount they charged me for their inadequate services. It was clear that the company prioritized financial gain over providing efficient and honest service. The charges were unjustifiably high, considering the amount of time wasted and the subpar work that was eventually done. I strongly caution anyone considering hiring SNG electrical to think twice. Their lack of integrity, unskilled labor, and unethical billing practices have left a bitter taste in my mouth. As a customer, I expected professionalism, expertise, and fair pricing, but unfortunately, none of these expectations were met. In conclusion, my experience with SNG electrical was nothing short of a nightmare. Their deliberate inefficiency, time-wasting tactics, and unjustifiably high charges make them the epitome of an untrustworthy and unreliable electrical service provider. I urge others to avoid this company at all costs and seek out a more reputable and customer-oriented alternative. I would say it's a day light robbery in the garb of professional service provider. I had to be in a power outage for 8 hours and had to take an off from work because this prolonged and unending issue fixing regime. It was a simple 2 hour job and they took 8 hours. The intention was to waste as much time as possible and charge more amount to the customer. Find an electrician in your neighbourhood as this is not place you want to end up.
