They're extremely affordable and have different packages from basic lighting to a full blown professional sound system with interactive lights and effects. I highly recommend this space for someone that wants a lot of bang for their buck! They also have rehersal spaces for rent in the back, but there's a waiting list to get in these amazing climate controled spaces. The Upper Room also has a full bar. OMG, one os their specialty cocktail is "The Falling" was some good. Also! They have a signature cocktail for the week, which is the Smoked Fig Manhattan. They were both phenomenal. It's hard to decide which is better. They were both that good. The two ladies working the counter were also very nice. It has a very chill vibe. It was in what I would expect to be the main room, which was very open, clean, and welcoming. There's a stage up front and the rest of the room is clear hardwood floors: perfect for a dance class but it'd work for a multitude of events. The entire center seems new, and I was definitely impressed by the grounds, complete with basketball courts and a soccer field. While Clarkston may have never been on my radar before this event, they're certainly lucky to have a community center like this one. #yelp365 24/365

Chairs and tables can be rented through the venue so you don't have to outsource vendors. The patio served as the setting for our ceremony, while the caterers set up the tables inside for our sit down dinner. The grounds are lovely, the staff is friendly and their rates are reasonable. Everyone loved the home and once my creative friends unleashed their magic on the decorative touches, it came together nicely. A few slight limitations (amplified sound) kept the party in check but the evening was wonderful for dancing inside and socializing on the patio. The home is very photogenic.
