I threw a party here for my 6-year-old and want to share some observations, the good with the…read morenot-so-good. let's start with the positive: Boomerang is super-well laid out, with tons of different play areas for the little ones. the private-party rooms are also neat, giving events a feeling of intimacy--where kids can run in and out of the party room and the play areas. I also really enjoyed how Boomerang customizes the party atmosphere with photos projected on the screen, although the practice of bringing a thumb drive is antiquated and should be updated to facilitate emailed or uploaded photos. What was odd for me is Boomerang's policy of "not bringing in outside food" when the staff apparently orders from outside sources like a pizza place. If that's the stated policy, how about giving guests the option of ordering from a specific place they favor? alternatively, having a number of "preferred vendors" might be a way to give party-throwers more of a choice. I got the impression, which was wrong, that Boomerang had some sort of in-house kitchen service, which I understand adds an added layer of complexity to any business. For our party, the pizza joint delivery was late and we had to wait for the food to arrive. The staff at Boomerang was really nice, and I felt bad for our room attendant who seemed overworked and stressed. I tipped her $40 to try and thank her for the effort. With some pointed areas of improvement, all-in-all I'm VERY glad we have Boomerang as a resource to work out "the wiggles" of our kids.

Since his birthday was coming up, we decided to take him to Boomerang to celebrate and figured we would go early on a Sunday morning in hopes that it wouldn't be too crowded. Ohhhhh how wrong we were.... Located just off Amsterdam (near Piedmont Park), we arrived 7 minutes after they opened and the parking lot was absolutely full of kids and parents and I immediately thought maybe this was a bad idea. Luckily there is plenty of free parking so after searching for a bit, we were able to find a spot and walked up for our adventure. When we walked, in the line was wrapped around the area where you place your belongings. We placed our shoes in the cubbies and there was a nice young man going to those of us waiting in line holding an iPad asking if we had completed the waiver that necessary to play. He also let us know that he could assist us with completing the waiver on the iPad he had or he gave further direction regarding using the QR code posted on the wall near the entrance area. The line moved pretty quickly and we paid. The young girl at the front seemed a little all over the place with so many people but she was kind while interacting with my husband and let us know she would need to stamp all of our hands in the event we wanted to leave and come back since admission (I think $16 per child and the accompanying adult is free but any other adult with that child is $6) allows you to leave and come back if needed. I liked that there was a gate to both the entrance and exit of the play area which seemed to be good for keeping little wayward children from bolting out the building. This place was soooo much fun and my 4 year old had an absolute blast. There were several different areas for the kiddos to play with...an inflatable slide, a light up dance floor, an obstacle course, ball pit, huge interactive game screen, and an area for toddlers. I was able to snag a spot near the dance floor in the middle of the play area so I was able to keep an eye on him and allow him the opportunity to just run around and be a kiddo. I liked that someone was doing a sweep of the area s and cleaning every 30 mins or so. They do not have tons of food options but you are able to purchase snacks and drinks while there but no outside food is allowed. Overall a wonderful first visit and we will definitely be back!

My grands had an amazing time at Sky Zone, it's a great place for them to run and play and enjoy…read morethemselves. There's lots of spacious fun, large slides to explore and bounce into. The line was long to fill out the registration paperwork to get in and jump on the trampolines etc. I was surprised how expensive this place is $30. per person with a mandatory purchase of the special Sky Zone socks that must be worn in the play areas. My purchase was $146.00 for 90 minutes of play time. The grands had an enjoyable visit here.

I love the facilities. But ran ito a big problem…read more Bigger kids (teenagers) will push smaller kids off of the big balls. Out of 4 times my son has been, he has been shoved off the balls 3 times. Sometimes violently. One of those times, my sons neck had slammed against the edge of the ball pit. He went to a staff member and the staff member said, 'then why do you keep going over there?' Once I found out that this has been happening I went in to talk to management. I spoke with the manager, Kevin. Once face to face with Kevin, all of the gestures of disdain, impatience, and contempt from Kevin were hard to take. It devolved into petty back and forth about who had a worse attitude. With a smile, he informed me that he was not rolling his eyes, he was just moving them from side to side (Like, what are you still doing here?) With a big smile, he told me he was raising his voice over mine and tallking over me because he needs to de-escalate the escelation I was choosing to create. But after about 20 infuriating minutes, he still had not taken down a single fact about what happend to my kid. Somewhere in the confrontation, I was told that they have a zero tolerance bullying policy. But the attitude we've experienced on the ground is, 'I know kids are getting bullied, what do you want ME to do about it?'

The kids were able to play while we brought in the food. They provided pizza and juice boxes for the kids. We had balloons but with all the running around we never got to get them inflated. They did it for us! We were assigned an event manager, Simone, and she was very nice and knowledgeable. She made sure to keep our party on track, packed everything up, and did the whole clean up! EASY! We were able to enjoy the birthday event with our kid and friends. Definitely recommend as the kids were all exhausted after running around in their indoor play area.

The space is huge and I must say the kiddos have the chance to run, jump, scream, and burn off sooooo much energy while parents/guardians can hang back a bit and allow kiddos to just have fun. This location is easy to miss is you're not paying attention to the signage and once you're in the parking lot, you'll want to enter at the door across from the gated open field. The other entrance (closest to Dekalb Industrial) will lead you to the open gym space. Either way, once you're inside, there's tons of fun to be had. Open play can be purchased online for $20 for two hours of playtime. I love the activities they have for the kiddos and there's a separate play space for the tinier ones. There plenty of space to sit, chat, and there's WiFi available if you need to bring your laptop. It's bright, lively, and a wonderful addition to the area.

On top of that they continued to charge my card when I had already cancelled membership and they told me I would no longer get charged which was a false statement, due to my card continuing to get charged for 3 months of not attending. They really need to hire new employees that value the members. It got to a point where I felt very uncomfortable taking my kids. Adding on, they do not clean properly and do not follow Covid procedures.

We love this little playground!
