Super easy. They came to my place, wrote me a check and took my bike. Simple as that.

Johann made this fast and easy for us! He is extremely knowledgeable. Punctual and reliable. 10/10!!!

Came out today to check out some motorcycles after seeing how highly rated Onyx Moto is, and I was not disappointed. The inventory is surprisingly nice, with a great mix of options and even some rare bikes you don't see every day. Prices are very competitive, and the staff was super nice and friendly without any pressure. They also have an in-house repair shop and a very clean, well-kept facility, which really adds to the overall experience. Highly recommended--who knows, I may be coming back soon to close the deal on one. read more

We had such a great experience with Onyx Moto. We were in a serious time crunch and needed to sell our motorcycle quickly, and their team was incredibly knowledgeable about our situation right from the start. They took the time to explain everything, worked with us instead of against us, and gave us a fair offer. That kind of honesty and flexibility is rare. It really reminded me how different it feels working with a local business that truly values relationships and their community. You're not just another number walking through the door. Also, small detail but worth mentioning, they have a super clean bathroom and really comfortable lounge seating while you wait. When you're already dealing with logistics and stress, those little things go a long way. Whether you need service, maintenance, parts, upgrades, accident repairs, or you're looking to buy or sell a motorcycle, they genuinely do it all. Total one-stop shop, and a team you can trust. Highly recommend Onyx Moto. read more

I purchased a 2025 Triumph Rocket 3 Gt Storm from Onyx Moto on 9/24/2025. The process was pretty straightforward and satisfying. The transaction was done completely online as I reside in NYC. I got to admit , at first I was nervous and had doubts . Errol and Josh are outstanding and inspired confidence by explaining the process - step by step - they dispelled any doubt or misunderstanding I previously had. Ignorance breeds fear and suspicion and almost blocked my joyous experience. My Triumph rocket storm was delivered just yards from my home and is exactly as depicted in videos and pictures. I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase - I found my rocket @ Onyx Moto via Cycle traders. Onyx Moto has an impressive selection of premium motorcycles and at very agreeable prices. Excellent customer service, specifically from Johann. The transaction was straightforward and transparent and I didn't feel cheated. I recently sold my Honda CBR through Jay at OYNX MOTORCYCLE, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Jay was incredibly helpful and made the entire transaction smooth and effortless. He was easy to talk to, transparent throughout the process, and made what could have been a stressful situation feel completely straightforward. It was my first time visiting this shop, and honestly, it made me wish I had come here when I was in the market for a bike. The showroom is spacious, well-organized, and filled with an impressive selection of beautiful motorcycles. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Highly recommend checking out OYNX MOTORCYCLE--especially if you want great service and excellent selection. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Bought a motorcycle here that (as I eventually found out) was recalled years earlier. This bike had something like 20 miles on it so it was almost like new. Seeing as the bike was 5 years old they should have at least taken care to make sure there was a battery in it that worked. When they dropped it off, the bike stopped working within a week. The manager gave me grief but finally paid for the new battery. What happened next was a nightmare. Basically, because of this very well known (not to me....) recall. The engine blew after 600 miles. This is something every dealership knew about (from what I was told). I was completely shocked. I had to buy a new engine and I did on e-bay. Do your homework and check all recalls. This shop WILL NOT TELL YOU if there's an active recall on a bike. I learned the hard way. By their super defensive answer to my questions about the engine, I'm positive that they knew this was going to happen. About half the bikes produced in that year lost their engines. Personally, this is the worst experience I ever had. I tell everyone I know never to go there. I know hundreds of riders in LA and everyone is well aware of what happened to me. Of course, me thinking they knew all along is completely alleged. read more

Off to a rocky start here but made right in the end! After the first two visits and having issues with appointments, a bike, pricing, and amount other things they do know how to make wrong into a right. Big shout out to Errol for being such an amazing sales rep and an over great dude! After leaving very upset one day Errol called us back the next day and just asked for constructive criticism. After this he had thrown me one final offer with me and the bike had landed right in to my rang off purchase. Not only that but he had FULLY hooked it up from addressing my first issues and hooking it up with bells and whistles I won't say what due to having understanding the sales secrets but you get the picture, I made a new appointment with him and was in and out with keys in hand in about 35min talk about a make up for speed! If you need to talk to ANYONE Errol is gunna be your main man. read more

Fantastic experience. I've literally been looking for a black and red Suzuki 2016 GSX-R 1000 Commemorative Edition for 6 years. The only one I've seen in 6 years was in Pennsylvania, & it sold in one day. Found this beauty at Onyx and worked with the finance manager, Josh, to negotiate pricing & pick up. I wire transferred cash and literally bought it, sight unseen. Shocked when I got down there to pick it up. With the exception of one leaking fork seal, it was literally in perfect condition. Leaking fork seals have got to be expected on bike that's almost 10 years old. Had my local motorcycle mechanic replace both fork seals two days later for a paltry sum, and had a pipe put on and a servo buddy installed (these bikes come with a flap in the exhaust that creates a little back pressure at low RPM's for better low end response.) Absolutely bitchin' ride. Their inspection of every bike that rolls through their shop is legitimate. Fresh oil, fresh brake fluid, re-torque of all critical fasteners, ETC... Many thanks to the entire Onyx team, and to Josh for working with me to close the deal! Cheers. read more

Dealt with the dealership for selling my Ducati. The process to get in touch and get someone to provide preliminary feedback and price range was swift. I had one of their techs come down to San Diego and take a quick look and provide a reasonable offer. Felt the entire process was transparent and I knew what to expect before he arrived. Dealing with paper work was a breeze. Shout out to Xander for being respectful and a pleasure to deal with. Young man with a great work ethic. I would definitely love to deal with them in the future and would recommend their dealership for your own sale/purchase of new and used motorcycles. read more

Well here's my experience with this company. I give 5-Stars because these guys really helped me out in purchasing my motorcycle. So here's my experience. I first came to these guys back in like very late August, very early September 2025. I saw they had a couple of Indian Motorcycles I was very interested. One was a 2022 Indian Bobber in the incredibly gorgeous matte black and a 2024 Indian Chief. At this time, I was recovering from serious financial dept and trying to get my credit back in shape. I met up with Josh and he was a really cool guy to deal with and wasnt pushy like some places. He let me take my time and he didn't give me any of those annoying calls, texts or emails you'd get from a car dealership. He let me do things at my own pace without any hassles. Fast forward to early February 2026 and Onyx had already sold those two Indian Motorcycles I really wanted. Lord behold, they had gotten in a very beautiful 2018 Indian Bobber with only 446 miles on the clock. I literally went to see this bike like three or four times before I'd go to work. I asked Josh about numbers for this bike and we both agreed and I ended up buying it. So Josh, thank soo much and enjoy the pics I sent you of what's been done to the bike. I highly recommend Onyx Motors for anyone looking to get a bike. They have a pretty good size showroom of new and used bikes. They'll even buy your bike or trade your bike in for something else. Give these guys a try and ask for Josh. They're located literally right across the street from Harbor Frieght in Lemon Grove. Ca. read more

I had an excellent experience at Onyx Motorcycle, especially thanks to Errol Fitzpatrick. He was extremely attentive, helpful, and patient, taking the time to explain everything about the bike I was interested in. The store also offers the option to leave a deposit and hold the deal for seven days, which I found incredibly convenient. Unfortunately, due to some personal reasons, I wasn't able to complete the purchase at this time. But I will definitely be coming back. I want to say that Onyx Motorcycle is a genuine and trustworthy shop with quality products you can go without hesitation. Even though I haven't finalized the purchase yet, I already consider myself a customer. My thanks to the whole team, especially Errol, for the outstanding service. read more

Over priced clap out bikes customer service is horrible my experience with Errol was horrible. Even the employees at cycle gear warns folks about Onyx overpriced bikes and there sneaky antics when it comes to financing slipping in added mark ups.It happened to me had to correct the finance personnel on additional mark ups my son was there watch it take place he warned me to not buy my first used bike from them when in the past I always purchased new bikes.
