The one odd thing about this location is that there is a Starbucks inside as well as a stand alone outside. But the outside one is literally drive through or take out only; there is no seating inside whatsoever. In fact, you cannot go in here! We didn't try the outside location. You know what? For safety's sake it's better inside to see all the people and be seen, than to sulk around the outside. It was spooky to me! It's often a game of chance and risk. Should I fill up in Ajax? Whitby? Oshawa? I took a chance, saw cheaper prices at this Petro-Canada station in Hampton, and pulled in. It's a gas station that has a Circle K. I filled up and paid at the pump. I then went inside to use the women's washroom. I asked the woman where it was. She pointed over to the right. Nice! The station has been around for decades. The washroom was clean and stocked nicely. I noticed KitKat ruby cocoa bars. Two bars were going for $1. What?! Were my eyes playing a game with me? Nope, they were cheap. They have a subtle strawberry flavour and are yummy. It's a pleasant change to having the original milk chocolate ones all the time. Don't get me wrong. I am a huge KitKat fan. On this trip, I came for one specific thing, a monster taco for dinner. It's a huge tortilla (I wanna say 12") loaded up with beef (or chicken), cheese and several toppings of your choice for under $10! I got mine with beef, 1/2 mozzarella 1/2 cheddar, sour cream, salsa, green olives, black olives, banana peppers, jalapenos, mushrooms and hot sauce on the side. It took about 5 minutes from the time I ordered for my food to be ready. They don't have seating , but there are benches along the sidewalk. I opted to sit at the one on the corner and enjoy my monster taco. It did not disappoint! The beef was well seasoned and not greasy at all (see pic of wrapper after taco is gone). There was an ample amount of the toppings that I ordered. It was delicious bite after bite. I only wish the cheese was melted... Maybe put cheese on the tortilla and pop it in the pizza oven quick before putting everything else on. I would definitely go back and order one again and again and again. The lines are shorter than they appear but about half the stations are operational. It looks like they are working to get crew to fix it. When you go into the gas station you have to line up on the street so you have a massive line from both sides of the road with people waiting to get in, spilling over on municipally owned road. I did notice you have to drive in from Adelaide, Bond has a no left turn sign. Costco needs to do more and regulate the incoming cars line ups on their property. I went in from an alternate entrance had to get in line and realized if I try to jam myself in the line I will block the entrance altogether, a gentleman was courteous to allow me to jump the line. Thank you sir, I will do that courteous for the next person. When you drive into the station there are about three open in each section and you have to go up a slight ramp. If you are driving manual transmission make sure you back off til clear in case you roll back. Costco is usually a more elite experience. Perhaps they should have remained closed until they were really ready and open for business at the gas station. I visited this location 2017 summer and again 2018 autumn no change still a construction zone. Please finish construction, I would like to update my review in 2019. Opens at 6:30am.

But I was pleasantly surprised to find a small, country mom-and-pop-style grocery store inside. Yes, there were the usual gas station sodas, beers, chips, snacks, ice, etc. But it was also a mini-supermarket with breads, dairy and cheeses, a few pre-packaged meats and cold-cuts, condiments and sauces, a small assortment of frozen foods, some jarred/canned/dry non-perishables, cleaning supplies, some pet foods, and some other household items and camping things. On this quick trip we snagged a bottle of lighter fluid (what we originally came in for), beer, soda, and I grabbed some cool campfire tablets that make your fire turn rainbow. B&D's was a fantastic find for our fam', as it is much closer to our camp property than going all the way to Albion or Medina to a full-sized grocery store for a few simple things. Sure, prices are a bit higher, but paying for the convenience of the location is worth it. The cashier was friendly, and the gas prices were reasonable too, in sync with the going rate anywhere else. I'm looking forward to popping in to B&D's again soon to explore their cute-kitschy shelves more, and grab whatever odds-and-ends we may need.
