I like the Circle K attached to this Esso station, because it has Frosters and Polar Pops, along with some hard-to-find items at the time, such as Fuze and Pepsi Zero. My car needed gas. It occurred to me that I had never visited the Esso station. Circle K and Tim Hortons? Yes. There were a few gas pumps that were available when I got here on a Saturday evening at around 7:30 pm. Gas was at 115.2 when I got here. Yay! I had just driven by the Shell station that had gas at 116.1. I was happy. I had a empty Starbucks cup that I needed to throw out. There was a garbage receptacle next to the gas pump, which was handy. At the gas pump's screen, I entered my phone number that was associated with my PC Optimum card. I tapped my credit card. I then selected the type of fuel and I started the handsfree fuelling process. Fuelling handsfree is awesome, especially when it's cold outside. I love it. When my car's gas tank was full, I put everything away and got my receipt. Done! I locked my car and headed inside Circle K to redeem my coupons. This gas station does have a car wash. One car was using it when I left to head home. It was a perfect evening to grab drinks and fuel my car. I'd fuel here again. (499)

The lanes are one-directional. The idea is that traffic flows north, so you need to be facing that way when you pull up next to a pump. This station has a small convenience store. I don't normally buy anything there. I typically pay at the pump and leave. The only time when it gets extremely busy occurs when folks are using the car wash, trying to get salt off their car when it's winter. Other than that, it's easy dropping by, fuelling your car up, and leaving. Gas prices suck these days. This Petro-Canada posts regular gas prices. A while back, when construction on the roads was happening, it changed how you turn into the gas station. If you are coming from the east, driving westbound along Stouffville Road, you need to turn left at the intersection, and then another left into the gas station. In the past, you could just turn left once. It's a bit of an inconvenience, but it is what it is. There are many gas pumps. The problem these days is that the gas price at this specific location tends to be two to three cents cheaper than most in York region, so you may have to wait to fill your car's gas tank. I picked up a habit of getting a banana popsicle at this convenience store whenever I'm here. It's only $1 and it makes me happy. Staff are always happy whenever I stop in. (117)

Located at the southern border of Stouffville, just north of Markham and east of Richmond Hill, this Petro-Canada station is usually 1 to 2 cents lower than regular price. The discount is no match to the 7-cent discount in Vaughan, but it is better than nothing. The store is a typical Petro-Canada otherwise. You can enter the station when you go north bound on Woodbine by-Pass or east bound on Stouffville Road. The traffic islands prevent you from exiting the station and turn south or west. It is an inconvenience, as I must go north to Tim Horton and make a U turn to go south to return to Markham.

Night time price drops are becoming increasingly common in areas of Thornhill & Richmond Hill between Yonge & Leslie. Other recent hotspots include the corners Bayview/16th, Bayview/Major Mac, Shell on 16th/Leslie the areas of Yonge/Steeles & Yonge/Weldrick (most dependable). This particular station has a large capacity so you're almost never likely to wait for a pump, it has a good deal of driveway space around the pumps, and people going to the store have places to park with sufficient space away from entering/exiting traffic (unlike the poorly designed sibling on the Bayview/Hitech side). The vast majority of operators in the GTA hold the line of the same price so I think it's worthwhile for the consumer to keep a list of locations who offer small discounts from their own margins and reward them with increased sale volume whenever it practical to do so. It may be only $7-$9 a month but it's money I'd rather spend on some coffees or waffles.

I have visited this gas station a number of times over the years, but well before my time on Yelp. This place is just in front of a bunch of box stores, such as Winners and Staples. The downside is going eastbound along highway 7 and making a left turn to get to this Petro-Canada. There is a ton of traffic approaching in the opposite direction that it is a wait before you can carefully turn to pull into the station. I like that the bays are wide and that there are many. I had no problem finding an available pump. I filled up and paid at the pump. It was uneventful, but smooth. This station is clean. I was happy that my car's gas tank was full again. (89)

And, finally, this gas station on the southeast corner. Back then, this gas station was a Sunoco. It then got bought out by Petro-Canada and it has been one ever since. This station has always had a car wash. It had steady business last night. I filled up my car's tank here, as the temperature dipped just under the freezing mark overnight and I didn't have much gas left. The price is average for Markham. I was in the area picking up dinner. For old time's sake, I dropped by to check things out. It has a Neighbours convenience store. I didn't go it, but it was brightly lit and looked nice. There was lots of paper towel at the gas pump that I was at. I appreciated it. The garbage bin was packed, though. It was enough to toss my paper towel in after I was done pumping gas. Other than this detail, this gas station is clean. I had no problem paying at the gas pump. My Petro-Points, 407 ETR, and credit cards all worked seamlessly. It was great returning here. It's a reliable gas station to drop by, with roughly half the pumps available at around 7 pm on a Wednesday night. (412)
