For starters, I've been a patient of the practice for at least 20 years. I've probably been to 95%…read moreof the total providers in the practice. While a lot has changed over the last 20 years, I can honestly say that I can't think of another group that provides the total care model as does BMG - Family Physicians. I've never had difficulty with getting an appointment with a provider in the group. The locations are now more convenient than ever. The skinny - the front desk staff (regardless of location) has always been polite and efficient (shout out to Vernita at Bartlett). The medical triage team has always been calming and easy to talk to. In my experience, the providers are focused on truly listening to you and not just hearing you. Over the years, I've had some excellent providers and the current is no exception. Shout out to former providers: Barry Avant, Claire Ellender! Though they have each moved on, they left a legacy of excellent patient care. The current goat is Jason Stewart - it's like talking to an old friend. The entire team is amazing - Dr. Wong to Dr. J. Smith and Drs. Charles and Melanie Woodall - you can't go wrong with finding a provider to suit your needs.

If I could put no stars as a rating, I absolutely would. This is probably the worst care facility…read morethat I've ever been a part of. My mychart messages were left unanswered for three weeks. And it took for me to go all the way up to the facility to question why my messages weren't being answered for them to simply say " sorry your doctor is only at this facility once a month". Why even assign a nurse practitioner as a PCP if she's not at the facility more than once a month? I was writing the facility to complain about chest pain that had been going on for a couple of months. I wanted to know what the next steps were in my treatment plan and nobody answered. They don't have a direct phone number to the facility and they encourage everybody to contact their physicians through mychart. They are also extremely unorganized at the front desk. ZERO OUT OF TEN! They don't care about their patients. Find somewhere else.

Dr. Wickman is the best! He doesn't overbook, so wait times are seldom more than 10-15 minutes. He…read moretakes the time to listen and discuss your health. He treats people like they've got brains, explaining things with lay language but without talking down to the patient. He is always friendly and upbeat, with a terrific bedside manner. He's got all the best qualities of an old-fashioned country doctor --accessible, personable, genuinely interested in his patients' needs and well being -- but his medical and scientific knowledge is top notch. It's like the medical savvy of Greg House, MD, coupled with the charm of Andy Griffith. Highly recommended!

She has the best bedside manner of any Dr or nurse practitioner I've ever dealt with or met. I used to absolutely loathe going to the dr , bc they wouldn't listen they would just tell you whatever they thought even when it was in contrast of what you were saying. Dee Dee doesn't do that she takes her time with and speaks to you like a human being not a number to meet her quotas for pharmacy companies. She's kind and caring and compassionate with your plights. She makes sure she does what's genuinely best for you and that's rare now a days. What's more is she's not just intelligent but also has common sense. Something most in the medical field tend to lack. The type of care you will get here when going to see DeeDee is second to none! 12/10 experience and I can not recommend Deedee enough.
