Years ago she found a freckle in my husband's eye and told him he should have that checked by an ophthalmologist. After hearing that, we were very impressed that she discovered it. I would highly recommend Dr. Sicoia if you are looking for an eye doctor.

The $39 retina scan is a scam -- they lost their credibility immediately when I was told it is part…read moreof an eye exam. Then told the doctor requires it as part of the exam.... If you have a complete eye exam by a doctor who is interested in healthcare and not profit they can clearly see your retinas during their routine exam. Getting drops or scan can be used if you have health concerns; diabetes, glaucoma, of considerable age or done every 2-3 years. Then the doctor tells me they discount it for us. This was an insulting comment because my insurance (that I pay for) discounts it for me. You are hoodwinking me into believing you are doing me a favor when you are insisting on an a la carte charge when I ordered an eye exam which is COMPLETELY covered. Have integrity and ask if the client is interested in the additional charge when they book for their exam, instead of insisting on the upsell when you arrive and being told pay this or the doctor won't see you. I planned on switching a family of 5 to this new provider and buying frames and contacts from the LensCrafters location, no longer. Sad that others are being taken advantage of.

Took this for granted. Then we made a lens adjustment due to my brand being discontinued. It went badly for no reason related to her and it was frightening as hell. They got back to me immediately, got me reseen immediately, and she talked me off the emotional ledge. I thought I had permanent damage. It's been hard to follow all the series of different contacts we have tried and we have to order them, get them, and retry them, but she and the staff have been unbelievably kind and patient. I sound like an 85 year old writing this but I am not. Just a regular person who had a bad contact lens experience and am very very grateful for them coming through until we get it fixed. Bravo, Dr. Palgon and the office staff. Please know how much you do matters! If you are considering her office, this is the highest praise and recommendation I give. Exceptional Care and Genuine Compassion…read more I recently visited Dr. Allyson because I was having an issue with my vision, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment I met her, she was incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. She took the time to really listen to my concerns and provided excellent, thorough care. During my visit, Dr. Allyson noticed something concerning and immediately arranged for me to see another specialist and have additional tests done -- all on the same day. Her quick action and genuine concern made a huge difference. What truly amazed me was that she even called later that evening to check on me -- to see how I was feeling and to review what the tests had shown. It's rare to find a doctor who combines such professionalism, expertise, and heartfelt compassion. I'm extremely grateful for her care and dedication, and I would highly recommend Dr. Allyson to anyone looking for an optometrist who truly goes above and beyond for her patients. Thank you, Dr. Allyson! Nick
