I saw Dr. Klein for cataract surgery. I immediately had issues with my vision following that surgery. He attempted to correct my vision issues by doing bilateral YAG procedures and prescribing drops. Eventually we did bilateral LASIK on my eyes. From that surgery, I developed severe dry eyes, ghosting of images, halos around lights making night driving difficult, a macular pucker, and glaucoma from steroids used to treat inflammation. He fired me when I called for an appointment the week after my Lasik surgery telling me there was nothing further he could do for me he refused to treat me any longer. I ended up going to another ophthalmology group where I saw a retinal specialist and a corneal specialist and I see them every three months. It's been over 2 1/2 years and I have worse vision than I ever did. Prior to surgery, Dr. Klein told me there was minimal risk to the surgeries. Please, people, do your homework before you trust any physician with your vision. No surgical procedure is without risk. I wish I had done so. Dr. Klein, in my opinion, abandoned me as a patient when the going got rough. Not what you want when you really need a physician to help you out. read more
