Heck, even on a cold winter day this is a great spot. My kids and I frequent this place year round, it's never too cold for shaved ice. If you go don't be afraid to try new flavors or even mix them. My go to is yellow ice cream with strawberry cheesecake topped with cream. Also, unless you like it to melt fast, tell to not make it "soupy". My kids love the silver fox (sweet vanilla) and ninja turtle (not totally sure what this is). It's under new management, but the items available have remained the same. Don't let the small building fool ya!! This place packs the most punch for your buck.

The staff has always been the sweetest and to be such a small little spot, the amount of people they serve doesn't slow them down one bit! It is the epitome of a hole in the wall as it's the size of a small shack, but the amount of flavors they have is ENORMOUS! My favorite flavor is Tigers Blood or Wedding Cake with the cream. Always, with the cream!!

The down sides to this establishment and my reasoning behind giving it a less than five star rating is one; the location. When you type this place on the GPS it takes you to the street behind it. The turn is especially difficult to get in when there's traffic, and the business is hard to notice with the lack of signage. I suggest if it's your first time going just remember it's right next to Taco Bell! The other downside is the fact that the employees are RUDE. There's always two teen girls working there who glare at you when you walk in rather than greeting customers. They're dry and have very bad attitudes so believe the previous reviews complaining about them. Other than that overall it's a pretty cool place, I probably won't be coming back due to the fact that I don't feel welcome but I suggest you try it if you're new to trying Frozen Yogurt.

It seemed like Mexico's version of a "China Town" or "Little Italy" in Hoover. I have not seen anything like this around here. My friend Tina and I tried Mexican sweets here, and I also had a snack of the Crazy Doritos. This place is very whimsical and cute. Perfect for kiddos and families. There is a ton of space too. They have ice creams galore here. It was hard for me to choose! I went for the prettiest one I saw and that turned out to be the Birthday Cake flavor. It was delicious! Tina had the mangonada that looked very good. I was wanting a salty snack too, so when I saw the Dori-Lokos or "Crazy Doritos" I knew I wanted to try it. The lady working there asked me twice if pork skins was okay for her to top onto them. I said sure. Little did I know what I was about to experience! They were actual pork skins that were like a cartilage or jello like texture. I assumed they would be like the crispy bagged variety you see in stores. It was an experience for sure! I liked it, but I probably would not order it again. The Crazy Doritos were also topped with a sort of nut that I liked, cucumber, and hot sauce. I just can't believe I was not in Mexico when I came here. I'm really glad we have places like this that can make some people feel like home and allow other to just have a different experience. It sure was memorable!
