It's getting to that time of year where one craves something cold and sweet! Although I did ENJOY my snow ball it did not hit the spot.. Firstly, it wasn't sweet enough which is probably a good thing but when I want a snowball I'm wanting it to be sweet! They also did not put enough cream. I saw multiple reviews saying how good there snowballs were so it's still worth a try just not for me! My fiancé said customer service was really nice!

RESTAURANT REVIEW THE SPOT Nola Ice-Broad St at the Pizitz Food Hall 1821 2nd Ave N Birmingham, AL 35233 Had the chance to try Nola Ice Broad St in Pizitz food hall and it did not disappoint!!! Food Catfish 'n Shrimp Double Box (lemon pepper hot sauce) Cajun Fries Dirty Rice Milo's Lemonade Let's talk about it!! Y'all!! That shrimp was the best thing in the box. It was meaty and seasoned downnnnn the catfish was good as well but not as good as the shrimp. Be sure to add the lemon pepper hot sauce to the meal! The Cajun fries were the bomb!! They didn't need any sauce or nothin'. The dirty rice was good but it wasn't anything to rave about but it was a good additional side. This was my first time having Milo's lemonade and it was goodT!! Gotta go by the store front and try it there. With the double box you get 2 pieces of catfish, shrimp, fries, and an additional side! You won't regret it. Might as well tip over to The Louis Bar and get you a cocktail while you sit and eat Check it out if you're ever in the area. The nachos were just okay to me , nothing special. I was expecting a tastebud explosion but it never happened. Personally, there was way too much cheese and not enough crawfish. The cheese / crawfish ratio was extremely off. I couldn't eat them all. I also had a small strawberry lemonade/ pineapple sno cone. The sno cone was extremely refreshing and the perfect size. I would definitely order again. My sister had the shrimp nachos and she said they were just okay . Nothing special but she really loved the crawfish nachos she previously had at another event. The service was relatively fast considering we were at pepper place market on a Saturday morning.

The menu has classic New Orleans dishes such as jambalaya, red beans and rice, gumbo, and étouffée. The menu also offers unexpected variety with the option for shrimp nachos. I tried the powdered beignets, crawfish étouffée, and strawberry snoball. My food was ready quickly, which I appreciated! The snoball was very refreshing. The beignets reminded me of Cafe du Monde. So they are a definite must-try !!!! The crawfish étouffée was delicious but could have been a little more spicy. If you see this this food truck definitely get in line and try something. Next time I will definitely be getting a bowl of seafood gumbo. #BirminghamEats #Farmersmarket #SaturdayMarket
