I was really craving a traditional snow cone and specifically went out to the Ross Bridge farmer's…read moremarket to stop by Who Dat Snoballs. I was not disappointed!! There are sooo many flavors and they use cane sugar, so the quality is amazing. There were several people around so it was hard to take pictures, but there were maybe 20 regular flavors, 5 creamy flavors, sugar-free flavors available, and you could also add toppings like sprinkles, whipped cream, and ice cream. There are three sizes of Snoballs and each comes with the first 2 flavors free. I got the smallest size and it was more than enough for me tonight. I tried the strawberry daiquiri and black cherry flavors, which seemed like they'd go together the best. The black cherry flavor was spot on and exactly what I hoping for. The strawberry daiquiri flavor also tasted very delicious and strawberry, but maybe not quite daiquiri. I would still get it again! When I got the snoball, I noticed that they had put a fun surprise in there... I'm not sure if this is standard, but it definitely brought a smile to my face. I had a lot of syrup left over -- they are very generous with the syrup! -- and was able to add it to sparkling water to have a refreshing drink afterward. I am so happy that I made the trip to finally taste Who Dat Snoballs. I highly recommend stopping by their truck, especially since summer has finally hit Alabama. It reminds me of the snow cones I had as a child, but much tastier. I also thought the prices were great (starting at $4 for the small).

My sis raved about this food truck so of course , I was fired up to try them. I ordered the…read morecrawfish nachos. The portion size was huge for the price. The nachos were just okay to me , nothing special. I was expecting a tastebud explosion but it never happened. Personally, there was way too much cheese and not enough crawfish. The cheese / crawfish ratio was extremely off. I couldn't eat them all. I also had a small strawberry lemonade/ pineapple sno cone. The sno cone was extremely refreshing and the perfect size. I would definitely order again. My sister had the shrimp nachos and she said they were just okay . Nothing special but she really loved the crawfish nachos she previously had at another event. The service was relatively fast considering we were at pepper place market on a Saturday morning.

3.5 stars overall…read more They were out of half the choices they have so be sure to ask what's available before you set your eyes on something. Now the meats are cooked really well and are flavorful. At the same time, they are drowning in grease and by the time I ate it the grease had seeped through both tortillas. The tacos are 3 bucks a piece, which is reasonable but everything else on the menu was a but steep in my opinion.

I'm always on the lookout for great "authentic" mexican tacos, and the Taco Boy delivers!!! Being…read morein Birmingham I've only tried a few taco food trucks but this one had been the best so far. My favorite taco is the lengua (cow tongue), and his was seasoned to PERFECTION and tender AF!! I was told that all the tacos were $2, but upon my visit, they decided to increase the prices to $2.50. The lengua tacos are usually priced more at any taco taqueria and here it's $3. With this price change at the day I decided to come is why I'm giving them four stars! On this visit, I had the lengua, cabeza, and the campechano tacos all the way, meaning cilantro and onions. I noticed that they add cabbage as well which was different and next time I'll just request strictly cilantro and onions only. Don't forget your red (spicy) and green (mild) salsas. I have noticed that the taco trucks here don't offer the pickled or grilled vegetables on the side to compliment the tacos. This taco truck is located next to a bodega off Morgan Rd next to Advance Mower. Please keep in mind they accept cash and if you must use a credit/debit you have to go in the store and that may be subject to other fees.
