If you're in a hurry, I recommend calling ahead--many people do this so their order is ready right when they arrive. Some of my favorites include the crab cakes with Julie sauce (absolutely delicious), the fried green tomato po-boy with bacon added (a new favorite combo), and the jalapeño hush puppies, which are seriously addictive. The staff is always helpful with suggestions if you're unsure what to try, which makes it even easier to find new favorites. The portions were generous enough that I ended up taking about two thirds of the salmon home, which will make for a perfect Sunday lunch. My wife ordered the lasagna. While it was a bit on the soupy side, the flavor more than made up for it. It was still very enjoyable overall. The complimentary bread remains a highlight as always and is perfect for soaking up every last bit on the plate. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient, and the total bill came in under 50 dollars. In today's world, with gas pushing 4 dollars a gallon, that is hard to beat.
