Updating my review because we hired this truck for catering a party. Everyone was doing tacos…read morerecently and although we love tacos, we wanted to do something different. Plus there aren't many taco options for vegetarians. After trying this place at the Encino's Farmers Market, we enquired about catering for my 40th birthday. Price was reasonable and they were available, so we pulled the trigger. Of course, the guest list grew and we had to add more people. Luckily the addition was also reasonable (obviously more than tacos but different and bit more sophisticated). Our party started at 6PM, they arrived at 5:30 and basically just drove their truck into our driveway. They plugged into our outdoor outlet and were ready to rock and roll. Guests started to roll in and just went up to the truck to order. It was easy - no set up, no clean up. Everyone really enjoyed the crepes - we got both savory and sweet. So I personally had a chicken pesto crepe and got a strawberry nutella dessert crepe. Very great experience and appreciate their punctuality, flexibility and yummy crepes!!! They even provided gluten free dough, which was really cool!

I honestly wish there were more crepe places around. I feel like they had some at the malls at…read moreleast but they didn't last very long. I'm always craving crepes and this is the perfect dessert at the Granada Grubfest. They have savory crepes as well but we usually just go for their Nutella with strawberry and banana! Super good and a classic go to. The best part about this truck is that they also serve boba and it's actually good boba! Thai iced tea extra boba with my crepe. Glad to see them almost all the time at the Granada Grubfest! IG: @ammysalamii

It's a solid 4 stars. I came super late on a Friday night. Parking on the street wasn't horrible…read more There were people waiting but it wasn't Horribly crowded. So I figured I'd give it a try. Pros before I roast them: by far, one of the better crepes. Service was friendly. Flavors were all there. Everything is basically custom and made to order. I ate my cream brûlée with matcha ha icecream, Nutella, and cream inside, while driving in the car. I thought it would be super messy but it actually wasn't. Cons: Logistics - the wait was a solid 25 mins which is a bit frustrating when there's a window to show you their work. The moment the girl was taken away from her duties (either personal phone call or taking an order), the backlog was unbearable to watch. That meant one guy working to do the crepe, the filling, and distributing. The other guy was cleaning up the canopy, bench, and preparing for closing. And the moment the single guy doing the orders ran out of a certain cream, he had to walk over to the fridge and back to continue working. Food- there was nothing special about any of the filling. Their money maker is their quality of crepe. So keep that in mind. I personally think the cream was what gave me a stomach ache after. I got a bit of everything inside and my favorite was when I hit the icecream. Next time if I go back, I'll stick to only ice-cream inside!

We had not been back to MCC for about a year! It is still a great place for breakfast or brunch…read more There is still street parking and a lot near by behind the businesses on their side of the street. They still have indoor and outdoor seating. Near open on a weekend, they were not very busy and it was quiet like on our last visit. The lady who took care of us sad that she is the sister of the owners. She was super nice and very attentive. We got the quiche Lorraine and a banana-Nutella crepe again. The crepe had consistently good quality compared to our last visit and is still just as good to comparable crepe places. Still not many places make quiche and of those that do, even fewer make the dense and thick slice pie style MCC makes--which is the good and high quality type. The quiche was actually better than our last visit and while we do not know, it still seeks like they make it on site. You still need lactaide to eat if u r intolerant, but it's definitely worth it. Recommend you get fruit instead of salad with it. Since their food is so rich/caloric/comfort food, we cannot come here too often, but when you are in the mood for a treat, this is a great place to go! Definitely recommend to give them a try!

Let's start with the positives: Staff was very friendly (chef and waitress). Felt very welcoming…read more Food was exceptional, we had the French Burger w/ Fries , Sea Bass and for dessert, the Crepe Suzette and coffee. The place is cozy and has the old bistro vibe with both indoor / outdoor seating. Price is on the higher end, but the quality and portion size substantiate the price. Then, for the not so great and why I cannot give 5 stars; We mainly went there because of a Restaurant.com certificate that we acquired last week. Great time to try a new place we had not been to, right ? Well, as we sat down I presented the certificate to the waitress and she looked baffled. I said "Is there a problem?" She replied, yes, we have not accepted these for many years, we don't advertise on Restaurant.com anymore. I told her, that I just got he certificate last week and clearly they were still on their website and selling certificates. She said she would need to call the owner to clarify. I said great, go ahead, but we would like to order first because we wanted to have dinner anyway. In the end, they said NO, they cannot accept it as they have not done business with Restaurant.com in many years. I said ok, no problem. Now, I would have given 5 stars and actually make plans for another trip there real soon.....if they would have accepted the certificate anyway, as I'm a new customer and you would want to retain me as an ongoing one. That is how business should be done, if you cared about keeping your customers. I would have understood if moving forward, they told me that they would not be accepting these anymore, but at the very least, make me aware and accept the one I had brought tonight. The certificate being legitimate, they could have easily checked with Restaurant.com by calling their toll free number to validate it. These are the little things that make or break the feeling the customer gets from your business. Do you care if I come back....or maybe not. Lastly, not sure if you can afford not having a customer come back, but judging by what we saw on a Friday evening at 7pm, we were able to call ahead and get a table right away. When we arrived, there were only 2 customers sitting indoors and 4 customers sitting outdoors. Does not seem to be a busy Friday night here. Management needs to take a bigger interest in the decision making when it comes to a few dollars. I could be coming back again and again and spending way more. After all, it's just my 2 cents.

My husband found this cute spot after we just finished dining at the Cheesecake Factory. When we…read morewalked in it gave me such a European vibe. Calm, quiet, 2 men were playing speed chess in a corner. This is definitely a spot you come to relax grab a crepe and enjoy your afternoon at. We got a sweet crepe, definitely delicious filled with strawberries and bananas topped with Nutella, powder sugar and ice cream. Our service was quick and the lady at the front who took our order helped us with our selection. Our crepe came out within 10 minutes as well. My first experience was positive and I absolutely LOVED their outdoor patio. It reminded me of the little town in Hungary my dad grew up in where shops were all quiet and cute with patio dining that were surrounded by plants. I will definitely come back to enjoy another crepe again.

As most people know, Parisian dining is responsible for making dinner a culinary event capable of…read moresoftening the hardest of hearts. Perhaps, I am exaggerating but Remy the Rat would probably have my back, or the top of my head. Oui oui, in the great country of France a bit of chew and gulp is enough to make a cheeseboard an experience of bubbly ecstasy. It is the magic of France that has this capacity to turn the ordinary into meaningful memory. Thus, when I go to an eatery that boasts Parisian roots I expect to have fare that will make my baret fall of my head, while my taste buds bing brighter than the twinkles found in the City of Lights. But on this occassion, the fare felt short of its Parisian promise. In other words, I went into a bakery to get a croissant expecting buttery flakiness and what I got was not that, rather ordinary bread with butter that I could have found in my fridge. I think that I have become a member of a French firing squad. And that is not my goal. The place is lovely. Sort of. Ok. let me stop myself, and write with more specific details to paint an acurrate portrayal of my visit. And I know my final portraint will not hang in the Louvre, or it might not be read, but at least, like the French I took my twirl at bat. I ordered two things, at this cafe, as I took a break before continuing on with my evening. The first was an ice latte. As another Yelp user commneted it was "just average." For me speficially, it did not have the chill of a plesant night, more the lack of a chill that belongs to a lukewarm product. Regardless, the coffee did its thing-- perk me up through the power of caffeinne. Not much ouch here. I ordered one of their classics: a create with cinnamon apples, chantilly cream, and powdered sugar. That sounds about right. The bites were sugary and sweet and tasted of applies that were dressed to be fancy. But in the whole the crepe was casual cuisine. I did not detect the whim and craft of Parisian haute couture. However, it was perfectly fine. It had done nothing wrong. It just wore its fancy clothes and did not glow in them, just kind of wore them. What I appreciated was the fact that they aim to decorate their house with fragments of Parisian culture to help a patron trasport themselves to Paris without the need of a passport stamp. I took a lot of pictures. Some of the stuff was cute. But in the end the amalgation of all of the stuff they have made the place filled with Parisian chatckes. It was a travesty. The collection did not come together, as jigsaw puzzles that finally reveal the Eiffel tower with the background of sky burning with fireworks on Bastille Day. But they still have charm. And I don't mean charm like the prizes one can find at a garaga sale, I mean charm like the prizes one can find at an auction sale, where budget shoppers attend. For instance, there was a red bird inside a cage. And even though my Parisian knowledge is so vast that it can fit in a can of tuna, I cannot connect why a red bird signals French philopshy and culture. There are a lot of posters that effectively take me to a sidewalk cafe. For a sprig of a moment. That I liked very much. I struggled between three or four star for this place. The item that leaves no room for critique is their patio. One cannot sit there and relax amongst twigs and vines, and a fountain that had water but maybe did not spout. Here I can imagine having a coffee and a pasry or a different dish and finding Paris in rest. And perhaps on this day, there offerings would hit a different knell. Quasidodo would want be to give a second chance. People who look like him want others to offer second chances.
