I would not recommend this one for your auto service and repair. I had my 3 year new car's brake inspected and serviced at Onion Auto Service. They said they inspected the brake, flushed brake fluid, changed rear (not front) brake pads and rotors, and serviced the front wheel. I paid them over $570. But after I drove my car in the highway about 30 kms, loud noises came out of the rear wheel at the passenger side. In the meantime, my car started to swing violently. Feeling unsafe, I quickly stopped my car at the shoulder of the highway, got off the car, and checked the rear wheels. I smelled burning from the newly replaced rotors. In the second morning, I took my car back to the shop. At the end of the day, they phoned me saying that the noises are not coming from the newly replaced back wheel rotors, and insisting that noises are coming from the front wheel rotors. The swinging of the cay on the highway is also caused by the front wheel rotors, not the back wheel rotors they replaced. They said that I need to pay them over $400 to get rid of those problems. They deliberately create problems. To fix those problems, you have to pay them. In addition, the customer service people at the front desk are unprofessional and impolite. Then when I got here they said 45 minutes and 25 min later they still hadn't started nor did they look like they would any time soon. I bet to differ will all people who think Onion Service Garage is best , No no no, i took my car for tire repair, the tire light remained on and they refused their responsibility. Secondly, I took my car for non starting, they misdiagnosed and said the problem was starter motor. Later they changed and said the alarm systems then they charged me for things they did not fix like starter motor, the radio in the car was not working and did not own their responsibility , the new battery they fitted was also very loose but when I pointed out these things they became very arrogant and racist. I ended up taking my car to the other Garage for the same problems. The biggest mistake was paying before I did thorough checking on the vehicle. Went to Onion Auto for the first time because I'd been experiencing a loud and shaking wobble in the wheels. After a $1100 bill, I drove away, and on the highway, experienced a shaking in the tires again while driving over 100. This was not noted on my service bill and no one spoke to me about this issue, prior to me discovering the problem. Back to Onion Auto I go, and have it put up on the hoist. They bring me out to the shop floor and spin both back tires in front of me and show me that in addition to the repairs that I'd had (which I agree I needed), I also needed my back rims replaced because they were bent. Of course, I pointed out to the mechanics that they should have noticed this and told me after having my car for 5 days (by the way, I had to share rides with a co-worker and finally had to rent a car and was never refunded the fee for the rental because I'd forgotten to present the bill). So they tell me if they keep my car for a week and sub-contract the work, it will be $200 (half price for my troubles). I agree, but there is no rental available for me, so I go home and wait for a phone call on new rims. I'm called the following week with a proposal to replace my 2 rims (18" for a Mazda 6) for $418 including tax - that includes install.... of course... $418 is not = to $200. Long story short, I found an alternate in town (Arnprior Chrysler) that has excellent ratings and will charge only $253. My advice - know what you're paying for. Expect long waits at Onion Auto and do not be surprised if you don't get the service you expected. read more

Honest mechanics who really know what they're doing - at least with Hondas. They assess problems and do what needs doing, and no more. The shop (and maybe more relevant to most) the front office seem a little over-busy sometimes, and the front office people are not always comfortable in English; so if any of that bothers you .... But it's a great shop, and the owner a very decent human being. read more
