I could had a…read morefew more cycles but we would have spent the whole day there which is not a bad thing at all. The facilities are modern and clean. Good secure lockers. Nice showers with I want to say mahogany floorboard. Bring a swimsuit and waterproof sandals. Towels are nice and fluffy, as well as the bathrobe. My massage therapist was excellent, I was a content , relaxed rubber noodle by the end of my session. For my "hot" I enjoyed the eucalyptus steam sauna (taking deep relaxing inhales), and the hot tub waterfall (spent several minutes with the water falling in my head which was very vigorous, then just tilt you head forward for a wonderful shoulder therapy). For my "cold", the cold plunge shower was amazing only needed the 20sec blasts, and the cold plunge tub just pinch your nose and fully submerge for 15-20 seconds. After all of that I grabbed a sofa in the resting area and just decompressed to process the entire morning. I hope to come back here every time I visit Montreal in the future

SCAM. UNSANITARY. OVERCROWDED. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED…read more This is NOT a luxury spa experience. There is 1 hot pool, 1 tiny cold plunge, 1 tiny steam room, 1 dry sauna. They allow way too many people in the thermal journey which ruins the spa experience. They do not provide spa slippers and allow customers to bring their own slippers, which could be dirty to walk around the inside of the spa. They charge you $40/slippers which is robbery. We got the duo massage which, for $500+ you'd expect a premium massage, but they hire inexperienced people who do not know how to do deep tissue massages. They increased the prices for special dates but also allow more people in, which defeats the purpose of increasing the price. MONEY HUNGRY scam artists. The bathrooms are consistently dirty, locker rooms crowded and only 3 showers and 3 toilets. This place is a JOKE. To top it off, I asked for some sort of compensation for the experience and the manager said they couldn't do anything about it. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN.

Why do I love this place? First of all is the location, it is nestled on a small island which…read moremakes it feel like a vacation retreat. I have been here many times to use the baths and have a relaxing massage, both in the summer and winter. All my visits were 5-star, now you may find a spa with newer tubs, larger saunas, fancy entrances but this place has charm and to me charm, cleanliness, attentive staff is what it is all about. Take a book and relax in one of the quiet areas, of course after you've been in the hottubs, steam room, and sauna. Even take a nap on a hammock, in season of course. They also offer overnight stays which I would consider, but I'm so close it seems a bit much.

The facility is very clean and welcoming, while the back area - with the 3 hot tubs, pool and saunas - has a quiet noise level all the time to ensure everyone can just relax. I would definitely come back. Pros - Very relaxing and an array of things to do (saunas, restaurant, pool, hot tubs). - Price of the hotel stay was inexpensive, especially since it was the weekend of the Roger's Cup finals - 30 minute drive to Montreal - Surrounding city is beautiful - Continental breakfast was good - Service is very friendly and willing to help out in any way they can Cons - Hotel room door was broken and we had issues everytime we locked it - The bridge to get to the hotel is very narrow and may be difficult for larger cars to get through

Wow! Where has Spa le Finlandais been all my life? Arrived…read morehere on a Sunday when they opened at 9am. There were very few patrons and the place was ripe for exploring. Every corner brings another opportunity to find your ideal zen: lying, sitting or standing. Cold, cool, warm or hot. Fire or water. Quite and calm or full sensory. I was absolutely shocked at the number of areas. Each time I thought I'd found my "ideal," I found another I liked even more. It was very peaceful and, for the most part, other patrons respected the "speak quietly" signs across the spa. I received a massage (it was less than ideal and I'll purchase the day pass instead, next time--hence the one star deduction). To check in for the massage, you simply go to the waiting area and wait for your name to be called. No check in, but make sure to arrive early to complete your health questionnaire! When I finished the massage, I enjoyed lunch in the bistro, reasonably priced, though they weren't particularly friendly at the counter, and then reclaimed my zen on a hammock overlooking the river. By this time it had become significantly busier but there was still plenty of room and seating available. A few tips: --$10 gets you robe and towel rental. You can bring your own and avoid the charge --bring flip flops or slider shoes --showers are available, but you'll want to bring your own shampoo and a rag --you receive a bracelet that opens and locks your locker, so feel free to bring that backpack! --the bistro isn't the only place for food or drink... smaller bites and drinks are available from the food trailer near the River --robes in the bistro are acceptable! Enjoy!

This place was filled with so many saunas and pools and activities, I actually regretted only getting the half day pass. It's definitely worth it to spend the whole day here. Food was very good for spa food and very French focused. The blueberry pastry was a highlight for me! And the soup was absolutely delicious. I do wish the locker room area was as nice as the rest of the facilities but this spa experience was truly one of a kind.

I had an excellent experience at this spa, it was simply amazing!…read more I booked a deep tissue massage and it was as strong as I wanted and very skilled. The masseuese was a true professional who knew what they were doing. My aching back was feeling so much better after. When you go to this spa you are free to come as early as you like or stay as late as you want after your treatment in order to enjoy the rooftop indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym, or relaxation room. I never felt rushed and they encouraged me to stay as long as I wanted. The changing room was nice and had showers with soap, shampoo, etc. They can also provide you with deoderant, a shaving kit, and a toothbrush kit if asked. Along with the robe and slippers they loan you at check-in, you really do not need to bring anything. The relaxation room has bottled water, fancy teas and some nuts and dried fruit. In the end, with local pricing, it was not too expensive. They have monthly promotions so be sure to sign up for their newsletter. The service was the best of any spa ive been to and I look forward to returning again and again.
