Everyone was so helpful and kind. The workers here really have a love and passion for skateboarding that makes all the difference. I am excited to come back every Sunday for womens & trans skate night or Mondays - adult skating. It's only $12 to go and you can use their boards & safety gear like helmets, wrist guards, knee pads, etc. I am so excited to keep coming back and improving. I understand "policies" but maybe there could be further consideration for the parents that are required to be there. Skate Castle doesn't charge adult spectators. - Skate floor can get a bit overcrowded - Adults of children/adults skating with their younger children skating around extremely fast at times and others getting run into/knocked down - Concessions are a bit on the higher side ($3.50 for a small slushie) My kids ended up having a blast which offset the higher prices of all the things, but I'm not so sure that we'll be going back here too often.

I had called earlier in the day to inquire about cycling helmets. They told me the brand they carried which I initially wasn't interested in but decided to make the 1.5 hour trip to check them out. Upon arrival we were impressed with the selection of bikes but the helmet selection was limited to one brand and sizes were limited as well. As I was looking for a helmet my wife was looking at bikes. A sales person who was initially working with a customer had that customer walk away. At this point my wife said hello and the sales person halfway aknowleged her and walked away ignoring the fact that she may have a question. We decided to shrug this off and continue to look around. We took a stroll to their basement where they have more bikes and did some preliminary sizing for my wife as we are in the market to purchase a new one for her. Then wee made our way back upstairs and back to the helmets. I had decided that I liked one of the helmets but wanted to compare with others they had on display but couldn't find the color or size I needed. After having other employees ignored us I decided it was time to go and internet shop for a helmet. As we were leaving the employee that blew my wife off earlier finally took some interest in us. At this point we had been in the store for at least a half hour. I told him I was looking at their helmets and interested in the Specialized Search helmet they had on display but wanted to compare with other helmets they had. He proceeded to take us to the helmets to show us comparable models one of which was the LOMA. He then walked back to the counter to look and see if they had my size and color I wanted in stock. He then announced that they only had black. Then as I was asking him about the Propero helmet they had on display he turned to help another costomer that had walked in and never acknowledged my question. It's unfortunate that a shop that was recommended to me by a friend fell so short of how highly he and his wife spoke of them.

The store is nicely laid out with Plasma TVs on the walls. Men's clothing on the left and women's on the right. On the far rear wall is the cube section were all the shoes are. They carry men's, women's, and kids shoes. They carry pretty much all the exclusive Alife shoes, Air Jordan's, Air Max's, Air Force Ones, Nike Boots and Timberland's among other shoes and boots. They also carry lots of men's and women's clothing with brands such as Akoo, Artful Dodger, Black Label, Brooklyn Mint, Coogi, LRG, Rocawear and True Religion. They always get lots of shoes in so if you get there early on release day you well most likely walk out happy. Once you get cool with the workers they will even put your size a side for you. Now that's customer service.
