The minute I walked in, I was talked down to by an arrogant owner that thought he knew everything and treated like I was an idiot. I had to return with the computer because they had not downloaded a new driver for GPU. They denied it til I showed photo's showing it wasn't installed. They accused me or Windows 11 of disabling the driver. I watched as they downloaded a new driver and installed it, clearly showing no driver was installed. They then proceeded to say, it was there all along, just disabled, totally trying to gaslight me. They would not apologize, would not in any way, take responsibility for the problem. I just smiled and said thank you, knowing I would never go back there again. Save yourself a huge headache and avoid this place at all costs! They do not care about customer service or repeat business.

What a horrible experience I had at this business. I dropped my computer off on a Sunday. The…read moreemployee (who was a pleasant young man) working that day didn't know anything about an Apple laptop....so less that he had to look on REDDIT on HIS computer to find out how to look up much storage my laptop was using. He had no idea how to find it! Even after reading it he couldn't figure it out. I ended up finding it. I needed a new keyboard because many of my keys were sticking/broken from the laptop being dropped during moving. I picked up my laptop a week later, and unfortunately didn't test the keyboard in the store. I don't use it much and didn't test it right away. A couple weeks later when I used it, I noticed the keys were uneven and felt off. The lighted keyboard also didn't work (it worked when I dropped it off). I took it back in when Gordon was working (different guy than the one on Sunday). What a horrible, unprofessional and smartass employee!! WOW!!!!!! I've had have my own business for over 30 years.......I couldn't imagine treating a customer like he treated me. He insinuated and basically accused me of spilling something on my keyboard. Pressure on keys were still uneven and backlight on my keyboard didn't work. Whomever installed it obviously didn't reconnect.....so now I type with a dark keyboard at night. Yes, I became angry and was appalled at his narcissistic and accusatory attitude. Asked me what the "residue" was on my keyboard. I walked out with my computer so fast and so mad and insulted.......NOTHING WAS SPILLED ON MY COMPUTER, GORDON!! It was their shoddy work and incompetency to install a keyboard that still isn't right!! He was absolutely disgusting to deal with. What a horrible representation of this business. I did call the Austin stores to share the story. According to the Austin stores, they're not connected, but students at Texas State should be warned about the quality of the San Marcos store.

Staff was helpful and they assisted us in selecting a new TV as the recent lighting storm made ours…read more stop coming on. When we checked out, I asked how long the warranty was and they said they could sell us a two year covers anything warranty for $180. I thought that's a good idea since we already had one that went out from lightning. When I got home I saw we were charged $180 for one year with the manufacturer already covered when we purchased it, and would be billed another $180 next year for the second year of coverage? So we were paying $180 for the first year which was unnecessary and an additional $180 for the second year. I found this very misleading and when we got home, call Best Buy and cancel the insurance policy saving myself $360 in two years. The store is clean well that has a good supply of items, but due to the way, this additional warranty was explained to us. I felt the staff misled us.

Frustrating at first in this day of instant service BUT, the wait was only 5 min. so I was very pleased. The Geek Squad had already received my AppleCare work order. They completed some paperwork, then I was off in about 15 min. The watch will take 7-10 days to come in, so if there are any issues, I'll update. The "agents" were friendly and helpful. I asked about screen protection and instead of the overlay, they recommended "bumper cases", which I bought for only $9.99 Bonus, whilst waiting I was able to browse around like in a toy store! All in all, a better experience than anticipated.

He was short, curt and just plain rude in asking exactly what kind of service I needed. I explained to him that with his attitude, he was not somebody I would want to do business with. He just missed out on a pretty large contract. Since I couldn't even talk to him about what I wanted, if I could give less than one star I would.
