I took it over to Steve's at 2pm on a Saturday. Not only was the shop open, he helped me personally, He told me if it's an easy fix he'll do it immediately and I can take it home. If it was more complicated, I'd have to wait for the diagnosis Mon or Tues. I knew there was a bios setting that might fix the problem. Steve got in fast and fixed it. I took it home and plugged it in... PROBLEM SOLVED! This allowed me to sell the laptop the same day! AND he waived the $85 diagnostic fee! I was happy to learn they work on Macs (my daily driver), PCs or Linux machines. They do all sorts of repair, recovery, upgrades and new builds. When I was there, they were working on 2 seriously tricked out gaming PCs. It's hard to keep a small business running, and it's hard to find honest independent computer repair shops. Me and my boyfriend went to drop his phone off for a screen replacement. We got there when they…read moreopened at 10. At first we were told they had the cheaper option and we started giving them all of our info and were about to leave when the worker said he had messed up and they actually only had another type of screen which was $100 more. We were told that it would not be done until close which was 7pm. We thought that was a long time but didnt question it. We called around 2pm and they said it would be done within the hour. At 2:30 they called us back and said they never even had a screen replacement for an iphone 15 pro max. So we wasted about 5 hours and almost $270. Would not recommend.
