I got up and left, my husband paid the bill and there was a dog running loose in the restaurant and quickly jumped into my seat and started eating off my plate. My husband was not happy. I later reported this incident to the health department. I don't know how they stay open. It was a total waste of money and time. I should have read the reviews first. I've always heard they have some decent stuff and some prices at ALDI are lower than regular markets. They do have a good variety of stuff, from name brand items to some generic stuff that seems to be a lot cheaper than other places. They also have a decent selection of snacks, fruits and vegetables, and also all types of breads and meats. We were able to load up on groceries that will last a few days and the total price was not too bad. I'm not sure if the prices are just lower here in Oneonta, but I can't wait to go back to an ALDI in so cal and hopefully find the same great deals and values.
