This place is never available to talk on the phone. I kept getting messages saying my loan was pre approved and to give them a call. Well this is already my firth day trying to call them. I even set an appointment so they can give me at call back at the time I had requested them to call me. No phone calls came in. I would NOT recommend this place. read more

They might be able to help you out with a loan, but I suggest you look into other options. Not only are the interest rates extremely high, but their debt collection methods are unprofessional and illegal. The manager, Anthony, will process your payments even if you haven't authorized them. This constitutes a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). OMF you should train your staff, including managers. NEGATIVE FIVE. PLEASE DO NOT GET A LOAN WITH THESE PEOPLE. I got a loan in 2022 for 16,580.00 with a 35% interest rate. They charged me an additional 16,000 in interest. As of 2025 I paid 21,000.00 back on this loan. I lost my job and they are trying to sue me for the balance of 12,000.00. I attempted to work out a settlement of a lump sum of $3,700.00 from my severance pay. They told me I can pay that and $300.00 a month for 36 months. With no income I could not pay $300.00 a month. They denied the settlement. They want there interest paid instead of looking at the fact they were paid back what was borrowed and a addition $,9,000 in interest. In total they want me to pay $32,000. THIS WAS TRULY A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL read more

When you contact an establishment like OneMain looking for borrowing options, its usually because you're in need of a loan and badly. My situation was no different. After some unfortunate happenings at work, I found myself in a heap of credit card debt, paying only minimums with my back against the wall and not a lot of options. On a whim, I submitted a pre-approval on Lendingtree's webpage and OneMain was one of the lenders who contacted me. Unfortunately, my first contact with a OneMain office was with another location who called me in regards to my application on Lendingtree ( 5 minutes after I submitted my application, no less ). The pre approval offer was SIGNIFICANTLY less than I requested. That first office who contacted me basically told me that I could only borrow the amount I was pre-approved for and asked me if I wanted the loan or not. I declined and felt frustrated. That same day, Joe from OneMain's Tustin office ( this location ) reached out regarding my Lendingtree application. Frustration from my previous contact with another office drove me to shut down Joe and hastily end the conversation. Fast forward two days later, and I'm cruising the internet again, looking for options to help me get out of debt. To my surprise, OneMain's Tustin location kept popping up as having exceptional customer reviews. I decided to give them another shot and called them up. Much to my surprise, Joe picked up my call and recalled our conversation from a couple of days prior. I apologized for my hasty dismissal previous and told him about my unpleasant conversation with another office. Luckily, Joe said that there was a possibility I could borrow more and encouraged me to apply. I called Joe the next morning ( Saturday ) and gave him all my pertinent info. Tuesday morning ( it was a three day holiday weekend ) I heard back from Joe and was pleasantly surprised to learn that I could indeed borrow a significant amount more than what was "pre approved". I went into this office that same day to sign the loan documents and checks were cut to my creditors as I was signing the docs. The remainder of the funds were directly deposited to my checking account the very next day. These guys at OneMain Tustin are very clear disclosing APR, collateral, terms and fees. While I do realize that some offices may not be so clear disclosing these numbers, Joe and the team at this Tustin location were extremely clear. So it really surprises me to see people negatively review OneMain financial because of " High interest rates " or " discovering that they had to put their car for collateral ". All of this is clearly disclosed verbally, on computer screens as you're signing AND in the documents available to download after the loan is complete. I firmly believe that some people applying for loans at OneMain maybe just don't understand how secured loans work and blame it on the financial institution. And yes, OneMain has high interest rates. But there is a reason you're applying for a loan from OneMain and not a traditional bank. Like myself, you're likely in some debt trouble and got shot down at a dozen other lenders before applying at OneMain. If you read your contract carefully and understand the numbers, it should never come as a surprise how much interest you pay for your loan. read more

I tried to get a loan from one main financial and they were the worst customer service I have received ever in my process of buying a loan. I've had three houses and many condominiums expensive houses over one was over $1 million. My income is $9000 a month in retirement I showed everything my bank statements my deposit into all my accounts my award letter. Nothing was good enough for them nothing they actually coached me in there on a mailer. In the last day on the third trip in a week for a $6000 loan with no expenses to come in for declined the loan because I did not have an award letter from my trustee proving I actually had a warrant out this morning I showed them the distribution letter with all my amounts added up during the month of February, March and April and they refused that over award letter for my trustee which I could never get that is impossible. I would have to go to the bank account and there's no way that trustee he's gonna let me go into the bank account. it was a purposeful thing they did so they didn't give me a mom they didn't like me the manager just like me she couldn't answer questions I had so she declined it read more

Thank you to OneMain Financial for wasting my f***ing time today! I submitted a loan app Saturday last week & got a call from some lady from OneMain Financial to go ahead with the approval. She was very unprofessional & chewing gum btw! Since I didn't get approved the first time, she told me to call back with a co-signer which I did & there I spoke to Keith Greenwood. After talking with him & giving him the info required, I got approved for a $3500 loan & was given an appointment to bring my documents so I can receive my funds. So today, dealing with extreme sciatic nerve pain & lower back issues, I went to the OneMain Financial Branch here in Tustin just to be told that my income was tight! In other words, I'm not approved for shit & Keith just played me! They also claim they couldn't see my documents which look fine when I sent it via email! I had all the documents today, but they still refused to honor the loan I was supposedly approved for! I wasted my time & my gas coming to this place & the two women there was not helpful at all! These people play games, stay away at all costs! Luckily for me, I had another loan institution lined up which I called them soon as I got home, no games played, they were straight forward & in 15 minutes I got approved & funds were sent into my account! I didn't even need cosigner & my monthly payments is much lower than at OneMain! SO again, a BIG F*** YOU to OneMain Financial! read more

Needed a short term loan, and this company came recommended. The process was quick, and had money within a day. They have great email deals and recommendations too (without receiving too much email!) When I needed a statement ASAP to pay it off early, they made sure I had what I needed that day. Very customer oriented. read more

Do not do it if at all possible. Words from their manager, "if you are ever more than 10 days late on your payment, you will never pay this loan off." Michael Quito is his name and he is the manager of Santa Ana branch. read more

Customer service at this location is amazing. I have worked in customer service all my life, and I truly appreciate excellent customer service and take notice when I receive it. Taking a loan out can be so intimidating but our associate, Rechenna was helpful, courteous and gracious and extremly respectful on the telephone and in person. I felt comfortable and welcome in this office. My finances are extremly tight, but they were able to help me and offer a payment plan that fits my budget. Rechenna and another extremly nice associate we met, Alex get 5 stars for top notch customer service. If you need a loan for any reason, I highly recommend this office. read more
