We have repeatedly asked you to stop the sales calls late at night. We don't live near you, and are tired of being called 7-9pm 6,7, or 10 times in a row with hang up calls, only to call back and get a sales pitch. We have blocked numbers and you keep calling. We're tired of filling out FCC reports and reporting you to the carrier. Stop. read more

One star I paid off my loan years ago and now I just got a letter in the mail from the court they are garnishing wages. Loantopia has been harassing me for years. I've already paid it off. I've showed them. I've paid it off and now they've taken it to the court, which is wonderful so they are an awful company.. if I could give zero stars, I would...... read more

Updating my review from two stars to one. The owner contacted me awhile back and asked me to removed my review. He even mentioned reading all my other reviews. My experience is exactly what happened and my review fairly sums up my experience. read more

This place deserves no stars! Vy their rep, duped you into applying after I told her I didn't think I would get funded and she was steady claiming they work with all types of credit as low as 550 and as I thought...DENIED. and I am well above that! So now no loan and an inquiry from this sham of a business. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE NOT WHAT THEY CLAIM! read more

Best customer service, hands down. Got a loan and not only was the service quick, but friendly as well, this is a business that really cares about their clients. If ever I was to get a loan again, this would be my go to spot. read more

Got a loan from this place was late once and the threats started coming in immediately. They are the typical we know we have you in a hard spot and my words of advice would be find another company that can help you as this one is a scam at best. read more

Trying to pay off a loan today...hopefully I don't run into the same problems that other people on yelp have had...if so my next review will be a horrible one. I will keep you posted. read more

This company is a fraud they lie to you to sign up online you never meet them in person and break all kinds of laws. I'm taking them to court for fraudulent advertising and without consent calling my employer and I was forcefully laid off. read more

Horrible. Don't waste your time. You can meet all their criteria and they still decline you. All my info checked out. You provide all your bank info and everything I don't recommend at all possibly a scam. If you have bad credit dont apply because what they claim is false. read more

Heres the thing- this is an EMERGENCY my life is ending I have no other means loan. While mostly anyone can get approved, its really super crazy expensive. That is not why I am complaining. I have tried paying this loan off a few times and I get the run around. Which I am not sure is exactly legal. I have gotten transferred so many times its frustrating with a wide range of excuses as to why they cant find my loan :( which means paying interesting on amounts I shouldn't have. read more

I submitted 90 days worth of bank statements and my paystub from the VA and I get a denial without an explanation. I didnt even give them my social security number to make that decision. read more

I applied for a Loan in November, It was accepted and I was approved for $2600.00, Perfect! Just the amount I needed. I agreed to their extremely high interest rate, why? Because I had bad credit like most of us do. I have a good job and they knew this. I accepted them to automatically withdraw from my account, $112.00 every WEEK! I have never missed a payment and this week I called to see if they could work with me on this 1 weeks payment because my registration is expired and i recieved a ticket that needs to be paid ASAP. The 1st person i talked to hung up on me when I asked for a manager. The second time I called The manager answered right away and had a premeditated arangement, which leads me to believe that the 1st person i talked to hung up on me then proceeded to complain to the manager that I was being difficult and wanted an extension. She told me i can split this payment up between 2 weeks, I agreed. She even went on to say that all this has been documented on my account and i will only pay $50 something this week. WELL guess what, they charged me the whole $112! I wasted my time and energy trying to figure out how I was going to pay them when they don't even care about the arrangement! I will never use these people again! I was going to put 2 stars but thinking about it, a loan company is supposed to help when you are in a tight spot. When i have paid $2900 in the past 6 months on time, you would think that they would be more understanding and helpful. Instead they screwed me, and probably laughed about it after. read more

I get a loan offer with showing I'm prequalified, I go to apply and then they tell me I don't qualify because I don't have direct deposit. Doesn't say anything about I have to have direct deposit on this form or even the application online. Now I can't be helped because they didn't disclose none of this information to me. Thanks for nothing Loantopia read more

I can only say thank you to Shoreside Loans. You have earned a customer for life. Any organization that is willing to help someone in dyer need like I was will always have my trust and business. This place pays for the good reviews, I made a $800 first payment and it didn't even make a dent..

They will give you an apr at 215%!!! Your loan of 3000 will come out around 13,000!!! And they charge a 75 dollar fee for the loan. They tried to emphasize that they wont charge a pre payment penalty but most places do not even charge you a pre payment penalty nor a 75 dollar fee nor a ridiculous 215%. That apr should be illegal. Stay away from these scammers. read more

Great group of people! True to their word and easy to work with. I admit I was hesitant at first, but in the end it turned out to be an easy experience with their monthly payments. So I do recommend them if you're in need of a small loan. read more

For anyone that was ever in a financial bind I would highly recommended this place, all of the staff is more than helpful to all your questions, they do not beat around the bush and tell you what you want to hear, they tell you the facts without any BS, Richard, Liz and the rest of the staff are very friendly, I called on 11/20/2013 in the morning to get all the info, applied online, they contacted me within 2 hours and set up an appointment to pick up my funds the next day, once I got there I was greeted by Liz who was really nice, signed the contract then was personally greeted by Richard who you can tell was very down to earth, I literally was in and out of there within 15 minutes. With all that said, thank you again to Shoreside Loans for the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time read more

Have not been able to access my account for over two months. Sent message thru their website to find out what the problem was. No response. Called customer service got transferred around. Finally get to a person to talk to and he cannot even tell me the payoff balance or help find out why I cannot access my account. Website says they open at 9:00 am. it is 9:15. Problem still exists and the guy on the phone whine about me being rude. A company that does not respond to their own website contact page is rude. Still don't know my account status and cannot gain access to my account, and all they worry about is someone being rude. Right. read more

Shoreside Loans helped me when I needed help the most. All others had denied me and I had all but given up hope.

Do not get a loan with loantopia! You will have a very hard time with paying off the balance. You will not have access to your account online and they will not answer your calls. It took me three days after I told that I would be closing my bank account and leaving the country. If they did not give me a payoff balance asap they would not get thier money. That made them move quickly! Wow! I paid off my loan but never got a confirmation or a payoff letter. Word to the wise, these guys are assholes and will give you a hard time from start to finish. If they give you a hard time just close your bank account. read more

HUGE Thank you to Shoreside Loans! I couldn't have asked for a better experience when I was in a bind. In addition to being helpful and responsive, Matthew took a personal interest in my situation and went WAAAAY above and beyond to make sure I got the help I needed. When i arrived to sign my documents and pick up my check, I was greeted, not only by Matthew, but Richard as well. It says a lot about the type of business that he runs that he took the time out to come and meet me and make sure that I had a positive experience. I also had the pleasure of meeting Carlos while I was there. He walked me through all the documents and made sure I understood everything and had no additional questions. Again, the people there just couldn't have been any nicer. I can't say enough good stuff about them. Everybody experiences bumps in the road and its great to be able to speak with somebody that treats you like more than numbers on a page. Again, I couldn't have had a more positive experience and would would HIGHLY recommend Shoreside Loans to anybody in need. Thanks again! read more

All I can say is that it seems like I counted to 3, and was approved. yes, it was that fast. I first sent an email indicating that my credit was not that good, received a reply back within 15 minutes I swear. This was all yesterday! Then I received a call from Paul to get a little more information to complete the request, told me most likely I would find out the next morning. I was approved, and received my deposit this morning! I would recommend Shoreside Loans to anyone in my similar situation in a heart beat!! Thanks Paul Rochelle read more

This company is a joke! Do not waste your time. They wasted my time today for a high interest $2600 loan with constant verification and deception. They will contact your employer without your consent and read through three months of your bank statements through your online sign in (also without your consent). Go to a credit union or somewhere more reputable. read more

Went in to cash a check for a small business. It was a paychex check so it was a legit payroll company. The company I work for is run out of a home office. The lady I spoke with was RUDE and condescending. She ended up calling the office number and because he answered the phone with his name and not the company name, she refused to cash my check. I tried explaining it was a small start up company that didnt have a receptionist and she cut me off every step of the way. Awful customer service. I have never had an issue cashing a check before. read more

I have read amazing things about this place and I have contacted them a total of 6 times. I applied for a loan in Thursday. I keep getting told they will call me back and I never heard for them. I must say I almost couldn't review them well. However I HAVE TO now with the exceptional service they provided in correcting a bank error. Thank you Matt, Carlos, Kym, Richard, And Dylan! Yes, I either spoke on the phone or met each one of these people in person. They are a great bunch of people to work with, very professional, very straightforward, and extremely understanding. The whole process took less than two days and when I came in to sign the papers, I was explained by Carlos in detail exactly what the loan entail. There are no hidden fees and everything is clear and upfront. The check is cut right there and you are off with your loan in 15minutes! read more

I have to say it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with these people. I don't have the greatest credit, and I got myself into financial trouble. I went down and met with Richard and he was able to work with me and get me approved. I highly recommend working with him and their staff. read more

Would not recommend. They are very slow. Most other companies can process loans on the same day. This company makes you wait for days.

This office is a JOKE!! I've been told been told several times after calling numerous times to check status of an application someone would call me back. NO One has returned my call and it's been over a week! read more

I went to Shoreside Loans on March 18, 2014 to try to collect a Western Union money transfer I had been sent. There are several large signs in their windows advertising that Shoreside Loans is a Western Union outlet. They are also identified as such at the Western Union website. However, when I went into Shoreside Loans, there was nobody up front, no Western Union slips to fill out, and after a few minutes, a man came out and asked "Have you ever done any business here before?' When I replied "No," he disappeared in the back for a minute or so, claimed to have asked his boss if the Western Union was working, and suddenly, it wasn't! I guess Shoreside Loans only wants to provide this service to those they know, or those who take payday loans with them. Even if I decided to take a payday loan today, why would I patronize a business where one seems to have "know somebody" to actually be served? They will never grow a business by being unfriendly, but I guess that's their problem. I just thought that people should know exactly how this place truly operates. read more
