Yesterday I wanted a $100 loan for one day until I got my VA money today. Roxy , a clerk, was there. She was nice. She said that even though I had not been there for more than a year, I just needed to show proof of income . She told me that if I paid the $100 back by 11am today I would not owe any interest. She said there is a law that says no one can be charged interest on a loan that is less than 24 hours. This morning I had trouble sleeping. So I left apt early to take care of cats in RV. Then to breakfast in Anderson. I decided to take $100 to A1 . Ashley told me to come back after it was approx. 930am when Roxanne would be there. I got back approx. 945am. Roxanne was on phone. She was in a bad mood (as usual) . As soon as she hung up she started bitching at me about how Roxy "did not tell me no interest was due". I said yes she did and I told her yesterday the contract says otherwise. I did not care if I had to pay the $15. I make over $40,000 a year in veteran benefits for being a disabled veteran. $15 is pocket change to me. Roxanne screamed at Ashley not to deal with me again. I told her I do not want anything to do with them again. Roxanne should listen to tape from yesterday between 11am and 1115 am to here what Roxy told me . I am not into salespeople at all and I don't want to buy anything that I don't want again because I'm a sensitive person and it's not a small purchase. Therefore I value my time and money enough now to make sure that I don't leave in somebody else's wants. So, out of all the dealerships I've ever worked with I prefer this one to most. I have to be honest though I don't want to ever have my vehicle serviced there. I am a female and I have worked on many different vehicles and other types of equipment with motors and electrical stuff, etc. I am a veteran, so I am not an inexperienced person when it comes to things like that (they cross train you in any and every way possible). But, I have yet to have my car serviced there without learning about some sort of repair work or rats might have eaten my battery cables or something! That is the kind of service I have been getting from them. It's incredibly insulting to even the most unknowledgeable person. I thought "Did you just call me an idiot?" As with anything else in life, they have their qualities and their faults. It is what it is, I suppose.

The engine light, which was the safety issue, seemed to have resolved itself on its own, but Toyota agreed to check it out anyway because we were going on a cross country road trip shortly. We had already had Another local car repair shop check the engine light issue, after Toyota found the issue but didn't diagnose, due to our concern for our safety. Both shops seemed to agree that there was a leak in the exhaust system -- possibly the gas cap. Since we had filled the gas tank since both services, we felt it was possible the 2013 gas cap could be failing since it has been with the car since the beginning. Neither shop is certain that it will be the final fix. However, as it is the cheaper and easier fix, I asked to purchase a new gas cap for the vehicle before leaving Toyota. Thank you Toyota for showing you care. Communication with each other is the key to a good experience.

Two weeks later they put my car on as collateral and now tje medical loan it's being called a car loan. Now since they have collateral, not a single company will help me get a refinance. I called today to ask if I pay it in full will it just be the actual loan or will they still try to take on interest? They replied that the loan is now at over $4,000, almost $5000, which is far more than the amount that I borrowed. He asked if I'd be coming in today. I told him it would be several days. He told me he needs to know because it goes up by $39 per day. He basically told me that if I pay tomorrow I will be paying MORE than what I owe today. If I hadn't said it might take days, I would never have known they cost me around $30 per day in interest. No wonder I cannot get ahead. Never ever get a loan from Landmark. I'm almost better off declaring bankruptcy since I'd like to own a home someday. I borrowed around $2,500 for a medical expense. I pay $227 a month and I now over $4,000 almost 3 years later. I was just told that it may be illegal for them to turn a medical loan into an auto loan unbeknownst to the buyer. Im calling a lawyer tomorrow.

beware of sales manager Colin, just lost a deal today by trying to get an extra $3500 out of us…read moreby lying and saying he called the dealership that had a better deal when he in fact had not and then suggested their sales (maita suburu) where fake advertising and shady. We were able to call and talk to the sales manager at Miata within minutes of having walked out of the sale with Colin. the manager at Miata confirmed the sales prices were accurate and was happy to send over additional information on pricing If we wanted. While Colin refused to budge from the MSRP price and only offered us a discount (of 750) if we were to take a loan and not pay in full. Will not shop here again will not recommend. I do want to say however Mick the initial sales person seemed professional, kind and authentic in his dealing with us but sadly his sales manager ruined the deal at no fault to him.
