This company is garbage. I received a notice saying they needed a better angle of the trees. I provided proof and emailed them. I called to confirm all was received. They said yes. Months later I get a letter saying I'm being CANCELLED due to not sending what they needed back. Like what in the actual F. How can they do this to people?!!?! DONT USE THIS COMPANY. I called to get an insurance quote. Told I would hear back in a day or two. I hadn't heard back so I called back approximately 2 weeks later. I was told that they would get back to me later. The next day I see an email saying my Farmers insurance is less expensive by 1000$. I don't even have Farmers insurance. So I let them know that. Mike Lattau's office then blocked me. I would not recommend this insurance agency to anyone. Terrible customer service and they do not listen to the customer at all. I was a customer here for maybe 6 years and within the last 2 years their only concern seems to be for themselves!!! Mike came through on getting us a refund on a sold house. We thought it was paid through escrow but it was not and Mike found it. Thank you so much Mike. He assured me we would receive it yet I had doubt because of the insurance company, not Mike. Not only was he able to get us the refund, it was in our hands in about 10 days. I called Goosehead in July, but because of vacations, they couldn't get to me for a car insurance quote for a week and a half. But I made an appointment for them to call me then. When the appointed time came, they did not call. I called them and was told that my quote had been emailed to me earlier that morning. I immediately checked my email---no quote. It did not arrive for a couple of hours. The quote was for maximum limits on everything which was way more than I needed and at a very high price. I called to get a quote with more reasonable limits. I was told that they could not change the quote. Wha'? That's insane. I said "Thank you" and called another insurance agent. I guess they thought that since I'm pushing 70 years old that I must be doddering and would pay anything. They lied to me about the email, and then tried to cheat me. read more

The kind folks that sold me a car for my daughter referred me to this great company as I had moved here from Santa Clara and Geico decided to raise my rates just for the change of zip code and a line of crap about more expensive vehicle in the Redding area. Well I went in to see Mike Littau and I'm glad I did they treated me so right I decided to group my daughters policy with mine and added renters insurance along with the package.. Goose head insurance was a terrible Experience. I would not recommend them to no one because they increased my insurance twice and could not give me a reason why except that inflation. I have an outstanding driving record. I went with AAA insurance and saved $30, they also the lower the cost each year if I have no accidents and no tickets. I also had a refund coming from goose head and they said it would be here in 10 days it's going on three weeks and I still have not received my refund. I have tried to reach them recently and cannot get through. read more

Awful insurance company they do nothing for customers. They essentially leave you bare when it comes to the part where they cover you. I was one of Mike litaus customers for at least 7 years and they never sent insurance cards, never called us to go over our policy and they added and subtracted things with out our permission. It was usually the things they make money on like mileage. They don't look out for your best interests be careful I'd look for another agent and run far from this office!! read more

Mike Littau and staff misrepresented the products they charged me for.  They told me one price, and charged my credit card a much higher price.  Services were not on paper what they told me.  My home is 2300 square feet, built in 1964, wood exterior, raised foundation, laminate and tile flooring, 2 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces.  Mike Littau insured a 1900 square foot house, built in 2002, stucco siding, concrete slab, carpet flooring, 1 bathroom,1 fireplace.  Mike Littau claimed the county gave him the home information.  I called the county to verify, the county has the accurate description of my home.  Mike Littau was very concerned about being audited if I wanted to change the policy to reflect my home, Mike Littau also said he would have to charge me a lot more money to accurately insure my home, was I sure I wanted to do that?  I did not want to lie on my home owners insurance policy.  Mike Littau was able to beat all competitors rates, because he lied about my home.  I would not recommend him, nor trust him. read more

I recently got a quote from mike and i was surprised the rate was cheaper and I have a direct local agent to contact when I need them, AAA does not offer that anymore and when i was rear ended it was a nightmare trying to find somebody that i did not have to re-explain everything to.
