In general the loan is fine and the process of getting it was most confusing than it needed to be, but in the event you end up working with Miguel, RUN, DON'T WALK AS FAST AS YOU CAN. Just should have never gotten a loan here they dont help with anything and will keep sucking you dry. They will try and "refinance" just to lock you in at higher payment. My family and I were desperate at the time and it seemed like they wanted to help. I was wrong now having to pay this ridiculous loan what seems like forever. DO NOT get a loan with this company (OMF) it doesn't matter which one you go to. Let me say out right, if you get a loan here and you have to make the payment maybe 5 days late, the will put only 10% towards your principal and the rest towards interest. For example: my payment is 685.00 I was 5 days late and I told I would be- they only put 38 dollars towards my loan and the rest went to interest!!! WTF I rather be homeless then do that! read more

If I could give this place NEGATIVE STARS I would. Apparently OneMain financial issues checks (loans) to people without verifying Identity and or proof of income. This company issued a $5,000 check to someone under my name and now are trying to sue me. After I submitted a police report for identity fraud filled out the required paper work OneMain asked me too, 3 months later NOTHING has been solved. I just got off the phone with them and I was told No supervisors where available due to a "Meeting" and I should call back in a couple hours. So this morning I went to pay off my loan and close my account. The receptionist was kind of rude. I had to ask questions, she had me standing there like if I was asking for a tip. When I went to apply wow they offered me everything, sat me down etc. I was like this is not how you keep business, I was going to referred friends. But after today. NO Im not. Glad I closed it. I applied for a loan got approve, submitted all the paperwork as requested and setup a date and time for closing. I arrive at allotted slot to close and then was told they needed more information. WTF!!!!! I spend over an hour on the phone setting up everything and then the next day you tell me they need more information???? A complete waste of time not to mention driving 30 damn miles to get there and the only consolation is "I'M SORRY".
