Here is what matters; they did a comprehensive Background Check. My License was necessary ; they checked to see if I had DUI, Over Due Parking Tickets, my past "Driving Record." I checked all the Boxes. Analee was Brilliant, the transaction was seamless because there was nothing in my past or present to hold my loan up. I walked in Yesterday afternoon and after 10 minutes after signing 10 pages I was given my loan which was posted to my Checking Account. On the Second Wednesday of each month I will have xxx.x x deducted from my bank account Before I can to the store . I had spoken to Salina From their location on McDowell Road . This has been the most devastating and heartless banking experience of my life…read more After 13 years of faithfully paying on my car loan, my family experienced unexpected financial hardship. I made the difficult decision to sell our home specifically so I could pay off the remaining balance in full. The day before I was scheduled to pay the car off completely, the bank repossessed my vehicle. The repossession agents arrived in the middle of the night, shining flashlights into our windows and frightening my family. It was an incredibly upsetting and invasive experience, especially with young children in the house. The very next day, I did everything in my power to resolve the situation. I paid the full remaining balance of $7,500. I even went to the Sheriff's Department to try to expedite the release of my vehicle. Despite paying in full, the bank refused to release my car that Friday afternoon at 2 PM -- leaving my family without transportation for the weekend, including access to emergency care for my children if needed. What has hurt the most is the complete lack of empathy or flexibility. After more than a decade of payments and a sincere effort to resolve the situation immediately and in full, I was met with indifference. I understand policies exist, but compassion should too. If you are considering this bank for an auto loan, please think carefully. When you need understanding the most, this institution does not provide it.
