Might have been 48, but let's just say it was 58, as that is closet to what is written on the website based on the service I got. When I returned and got the same thing, it was 70$ without the tip, making the total for today 85$. Nothing was different except that there was a little bit of gel on three nails. I was pretty sticker shocked by the price increase for what seemed to me like easily filling off the small amount left on three toes. I have had other nail techs do this as part of the service, especially because it's always so little left on, if anything at all. The technician, who was lovely and did a great job, (not saying anything negative about her or the salon), did express that there was a little bit left on all of them, but I do peel the polish off myself before going (not supposed to do that, but I do it anyway). When I think of a "gel change" or "soak off," I think of that being a lengthier soak for the polish that maybe takes a bit more time and effort from the tech to justify the price. At least that is what I have seen at other salons. I know all salons are different, so that very well was probably my fault, as again, I do not often get my nails done, and I did put "gel change" down in the system when making the appointment by mistake. I don't know much about nails, but I'm pretty sure the techs always do some sort of filing to the top of the nails to help the gel adhere. From what I saw done, that is all that was necessary to do. Just an overall miscommunication, I think, but unfortunately I cannot justify spending 70$ for a gel pedicure. I am not from this area, and I heard good things about this salon, and rightfully so. Just know what you are scheduling for and what you will be paying for.

I had a hair consultation with Sam a while ago. She was very sweet and seemed to understand what I…read morewanted to do with my hair. She scheduled my appointment for about a month out. After waiting a month, I was very excited to get my hair done, as most people would be! I am not from Lebanon, so I had plans to leave quite early in the morning (My appointment was at 9 AM). As I was about to go to sleep, at about 8 PM - The night before my appointment - I get a text from a random number. You can see how this conversation went in the picture below. I do not understand why Sam couldn't have her friend, or whoever this random man was, text me off of her device, which I had saved in my phone. She was either with this man, or had the ability to call this man and tell him she couldn't come in, so I'm not sure why Sam couldn't text me directly. I also couldn't comprehend why I was being contacted so late.. and if Sam genuinely had covid, I don't think whoever was texting me would be asking when I am available... How was I to know when Sam would test negative? Sam texted me a few days later, from her own number this time, and tried rescheduling my appt. I have already gotten my hair done elsewhere, but even if I didn't, I wouldn't have scheduled an appointment w Bella n Company after how this situation was handled. I understand people get sick, but waiting to tell your client you don't feel well, the night before their early morning appointment, and having someone else do it for you, is pretty gross. I have a feeling this wouldn't have happened if I were a bit older (I'm 19) and I'm very aware that I come off as shy and quiet at first... It felt like Sam simply didn't feel like coming in early the next day and thought she could just push me off, which is really sad. Either way, I'm overall just disgusted with the unprofessionalism.
