When I went to confront him he knew what's coming and picked up his phone and started texting. I asked him if he's the manager and he said yes but kept playing with the phone. I could tell from his face he's trying to come up with an excuse so I let him figure it out and waited patiently. After (literally) 5 minutes, he spoke to me and said he didn't know what type of transmission it had. I asked him if he couldn't simply look it up online and he said it's not as easy as that. When I asked him once he found he couldn't do the transmission why he proceeded with other jobs, he didn't have the answer. It would have been much simpler for me to take the car to a place where they do everything rather than going to different places. The business practice and the customer service in this place leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn't go back to this place again. These guys give honest mechanics a bad name.

We had a budget, and he helped us keep to it, but he really went above and beyond that. Other vendors told us there was no way to keep the 130 year window moldings, but Turab not only helped us keep them, but had so many neat tricks to improve our restoration project. Other vendors just gave us offers against our project scope, but Turab explained to us the dynamics of different windows in different parts of the house and what types worked best and saved us money. He made custom moldings for our cellar windows. He also helped us out to stop a fly tipping incident one day when we were out and not able to deal with it ourselves. And when it was pouring with rain and our basement flooded, he went outside and took a really long and hard look and told us what the problem was. We got it fixed the same weekend and never had issues since.

This place is amazing. The work is well known in the easy coast you may remember them as the first ones to modify headlights on the old Infiniti cars. Boy have they come a long way since those days! I have Been a customer since day 1. The work is amazing, the attention to detail for my vinyl wrap and headlights is incomparable to any work I had done in the past. I have Used their services for everything imaginable and leave happy always! Alex is an awesome owner (hence why he actually wants peoples reviews) yo make sure everyone has been satisfied with their work months after doing It.. Niel from NDvinyls is super easy to work with even for a picky ass like me his attention to detail and taste in accompanying mods is perfect classy and clean. Overall if I could Give more then 5 stars i would I am Genuinely happy with everything I had Don't years later, still. As for the pricing, I'd say with the right personality and conversation you will find thst for the work the prices are more then reasonable .. Cheap work isn't good, good work isn't cheap. I was there today to do a couple of things. First of all, my last week was a nightmare because the modified headlights I have purchased off the forum has been not functioning correctly. And the seller just disappeared and I had no choice but to seek for help. I came across Oneighty and they are one of the most reputable companies within the USA that does headlight modifications. I spoke with Alex and made an appointment for today at 9 AM. I also decided to get their help on doing caliper paint as well which at first they were going to use my paint that I have purchased. So I get there and quickly I drop off the car and he gave me the price and an estimated time to finish the job. Apparently, the headlights were in much worse shape than we both thought and took additional few hours to get the whole job done. I couldn't have complained even if he charged me more since there was extra labor put into it but he kept his word and did not even mention it. And the final product... it is perfect. They are so professional with their job that they literally fixed all the problems related to my headlights including the demon eyes that had wiring issues as well. I would recommend this shop to anyone for any purpose of modifying their cars. They are truly great. I will be coming back again definitely. read more

I'm very picky about my cars.... who touches them, every tiny detail that nobody else would notice, materials used, assembly, finish of parts etc. I did alot of research, and found that ONEighty was the best fit for getting my 370z headlights custom painted. They have the expertise, experience, reputation for quality work, use a real paint gun and quality automotive paint vs. other shops that use spray paint cans etc. Took my headlights across the country while visiting NYC. Arranging an appointment with Alex was easy, he was very accommodating, communication was great, shop was very clean, and all employees were helpful and polite. My headlights turned out great, and the quality of work met my picky requirements. This isn't just a regular car repair shop. They do so much custom work, when I brought my car here I literally seen everyone in the shop hard at work. Each person has their own specific job to do to the cars. I got my headlights done and tints on my car, the turnaround was fast. I usually have to call the repair shop to check the status of my car being serviced. They called me! Told me it was ready before they estimated it to be. I have to say I love my headlights, now I get people asking me where I've gotten them done. I always advertise this place to new customers looking for a custom job or a repair, these guys are young and eager entrepreneurs. Over the past few months I've spent a signifcant amount of time and dollars with ONEighty getting my Infiniti G37 to exactly how I want it. The team at ONEighty came up with an excellent concept that I let them run with, and we basically changed the entire exterior of the car, aside from the paint color. It came out AMAZING. Their work is innovative, sharp, and beautiful. Their customer service is great too. During one of the phases of work, I had to pick up the car on a particluar night and they stayed late into the night to make sure my car was complete. The guys at ONEEighty are very knowledgeable and were quickly able to help me get the right headlight set-up I wanted for my 2015 BMW 328i. It had the standard crappy halogens, and then I had some work done by a local guy. That work led to more headaches. ONEEighty offered me an all-in-one solution that gave me the bright white halos, DRLs and high-beams that I wanted. My car looks 100 times better now, and is much safer to drive at night and in the rain. I found the guys to be nice, knowledgeable, experienced, and fair priced. Alex was great, responded to my email inquiry within 2 hours and I had an appointment set up. Stopped by the shop Saturday the 18th of August for the first time. I had dual orbs installed in the headlights of my 370z with a separate switch in the center console . Great work, couldn't be happier with the install Alex even dug up a better switch for me. Got a follow up from Alex asking how they can improve even further. This kind of customer service, attention to detail and follow up gets the 5th star! These guys really do excellent work. I came in shortly after I got my 370z and wanted to have some work done on the headlights. They took the time to look at some different opetions to make sure I would have somethjng that went with the colors of the car and that I would be happy with. The price was a bit higher then some of the other places butt the quality of the work was excellent. Also I did have a few problems years later well out of any warranty and they addressed them at little to no cost. Best place in tri-state area to get car mods done, especially headlights (they did mine) and vinyl wraps. I've seen their wrap work first hand and it's flawless at the edges and bends (unlike some other vinyl work!) If you want top quality work backed by great customer service, this is where you take your car. *EDIT: I've been seeing more and more nice cars wrapped badly (think S63 AMGs, 650xi, etc.) and I'm just going to say for those who are going to wrap: DO IT RIGHT OR DO IT TWICE, and go to the shop to LOOK at their work + the cars parked at the shop! These guys are great! I brought them my brand new 2016 GTR Nismo for a gloss pearl white wrap, clear bra and window tints. Biggest worry was getting my 160k car disassembled and reassembled perfectly, without anything getting scratched or broken. Fortunately they did an excellent job and everything was put together the same way I brought them the car. Clear bra turned out perfect, wrap looks amazing and the tints are excellent. I brought my carbon fiber trunk spoiler to Alex at Oneighty . I wanted to screw it on to the trunk, Josh explained pros and cons and advised double side 3m tape is efficient enough rather than to making holes in the trunk. I went with screwing it on . He did a very good job , he ended up doing a 3m tape plus a rivet and sealant to fill minor gaps. This place is top notch customer service ,professionals and reasonable price. Alex, the owner walks around with the office in his back pocket smartphone because when anybody dials into the direct line he immediately picks up directly himself. He's not in that office to begin with because he is out in the shop always walking around seeing how all the work is preceding. The problem I had…read morewas water was leaking heavily (can't even express how much) into my car and I originally went to a family friend who said with the utmost confidence that the leak was due to CLOGGED SUNROOF Drains and its an easy fix. However I did a little digging myself and found the water was actually coming from my A/C system and pooling in the passenger footwell. It sucks cause my insurance wouldn't cover the damages. But Arthur helped me out with a good price for fixing not only the actually problem being the A/C condenser, he also replaced the messed up carpets and treated for rust and mold. Came in to get front windows tinted and windshield. Was quoted $320 and 1.5h job. It took 3.5h to…read morecomplete. No mistakes or air bubbles on tint. Looks great 2 days after as per their directions. Giving 4 stars because the guy tinting was interrupted mid job by a random woman who convinced him to work on her car instead. He was hesitant at first, then obliged and it took him more than an hour to take care of her car before coming back. When I questioned it, I was told the soap they applied on the windshield needed to dry for more than an hour before tint could be applied. Also worth mentioning, if you don't speak Russian or their language, you will need to talk to one of their translators to communicate with the tinters.

DO NOT TRUST THE "LIFETIME WARRANTY"! I called ahead to ask…read moreif the lifetime warranty on my tint covered sun fading, and the woman on the phone confirmed that it did. But when I arrived at the shop, she completely changed her story. The staff inside inspected my car and agreed the tints were faded--especially the rear window. My car was supposed to be tinted 20% all around, but you can clearly see in the photos that the front windshield is much darker than the back. One of the workers even pointed that out himself. Things took a turn when he called the owner to confirm, and she got on the phone pretending like I hadn't called just two hours earlier. She claimed the shop had "changed owners" the same year I got my tint done, and because of that, they no longer honor the lifetime warranty. If that's the case, why did she tell me otherwise on the phone? Why keep the same shop name, same logo, and same prices--but conveniently refuse to honor warranties from the "old owner"? To make it worse, she offered to redo the tint--for $20 less than what I paid originally. Not exactly a solution when I just wasted a 45-minute drive and had already been misled. Giving two stars only because the workers inside were respectful and admitted the sun fading was obvious. Otherwise, it'd be a one-star review. Bottom line: Save your money and skip the warranty--they'll find an excuse not to honor it. And who knows... they might just "change owners" again when it's inconvenient for them.

Clarity is lacking a trained manager. There is a mix or trained and untrained staff working here…read moreand /or high staff turnover. Who you get depends on who you know, or that's how it comes across. The result is that you will have people without training working on your car and learning on the job by making mistakes on your car that you will then need to go elsewhere to undo the mistakes, if possible. Keep driving if you are reading this before you pull into Clarity Auto Spa.
