The staff is very nice and friendly and helpful with all questions and concerns as well. It's a tad cold in the donation room so bring a hoodie or blanket if you find yourself to be a chilly person! Overall this place is a great spot to do something good for your community and to get some extra pocket money!

The platelets are called "liquid gold" and are only good for 5 days. Imagine you or a loved one needing live saving blood or platelets and there were none available!? Their communication skills are virtually non-existent. I had a major problem about 2 years ago when needing to do a therapeutic donation that was only resolved once I was able to reach management in Orlando or wherever they are located. Now, here I am again, needing to do another donation and unable to reach anyone by phone. I really have no reasonable recourse but am just stuck with inconsiderate and/or incompetent personnel. If they cannot answer the phone, then what are they really capable of?

This is ridiculous when it only takes me 20-45 min to donate. This place is not organized. There's often only 1 person doing the hookups. The staff seems to take lunch or breaks at the same time, leaving one person on the floor. CSL is better, more organized and more people on the floor to hook up needles. CSL pays less but at least you're not there for 2 hours just to donate.

This facility opens at 9 on Tuesdays. While waiting I drank water. DRINK WATER! It will make your body more hydrated and take less time to donate! The woman was very helpful. She took her time and very nice! We talked about previous high school instructors at VBHS for the HOSA program and how wonderful they were! She explained everything perfectly as she did it, and waited with me as I was donating (since it was my first time) . I got 2 pair of special socks, a snack, will learn my blood type, will learn if I have the COVID antibodies and helped someone today! DONATE!!

She has the worst bed side manners and has left huge bruises where the blood was drawn, very uncomfortably, I've asked her what I could do to make the donation faster and easier her words were "eat better" ok can you elaborate on what I should eat prior? She said yes eat less fatting foods. Ok so what would you eat? I've never been spoken to like this ever, especially in a professional atmosphere. I suggest she returns to training and learn a little bedside manner for future patients. I really hope not to see her on the floor anymore after this if so this will be the last time I will ever donate at this place again.
