This facility opens at 9 on Tuesdays. While waiting I drank water. DRINK WATER! It will make your body more hydrated and take less time to donate! The woman was very helpful. She took her time and very nice! We talked about previous high school instructors at VBHS for the HOSA program and how wonderful they were! She explained everything perfectly as she did it, and waited with me as I was donating (since it was my first time) . I got 2 pair of special socks, a snack, will learn my blood type, will learn if I have the COVID antibodies and helped someone today! DONATE!!

A shout out to the staff that hooks us up then unplugs us when we're done. The phlebotomists go above & beyond, & are super kind. To the donors, be well hydrated if not the time getting that blood back in ya' can take soo long ( it seems). It really does help to kick legs like you're swimming. Also make sure you donate in even #'s.... It takes a pair of your donations to help someone, not once, 3, 5. etc.... ROUND UP EVENS‼

The staff is very nice and friendly and helpful with all questions and concerns as well. It's a tad cold in the donation room so bring a hoodie or blanket if you find yourself to be a chilly person! Overall this place is a great spot to do something good for your community and to get some extra pocket money!

This is not the place to come to to donate. No matter how many times I come here, I'm always here…read morefor 2 hours!!!! I got here at 11am and I'm still waiting to donate. This is ridiculous when it only takes me 20-45 min to donate. This place is not organized. There's often only 1 person doing the hookups. The staff seems to take lunch or breaks at the same time, leaving one person on the floor. CSL is better, more organized and more people on the floor to hook up needles. CSL pays less but at least you're not there for 2 hours just to donate.

The platelets are called "liquid gold" and are only good for 5 days. Imagine you or a loved one needing live saving blood or platelets and there were none available!? Customer service is OK, once you get to an appointment…read more. However, making or adjusting an appointment is difficult to the point of being almost impossible. Their communication skills are virtually non-existent. I had a major problem about 2 years ago when needing to do a therapeutic donation that was only resolved once I was able to reach management in Orlando or wherever they are located. Now, here I am again, needing to do another donation and unable to reach anyone by phone. I really have no reasonable recourse but am just stuck with inconsiderate and/or incompetent personnel. If they cannot answer the phone, then what are they really capable of?

The offer of a movie ticket was everywhere, hmmm. The concept of blood letting isn't foreign to me and it's been awhile...so. I was greeted by the recruiter, the ante was up to two tickets, I questioned the snacks. Cookies?, yes, the deal was closed. The phlebotomists greeted me, professionally took care of paper work, then the blood letting commenced. Sean was great, that's important, a quick stick. It went well. A quick note about the bus, the inside is well aportioned....nah, go in give blood and find out for yourself. Give blood, it is a life saver.
