I got not one, BUT THREE, hematomas in a row at CSL. They moved around the needle so much it punctured a vein. My entire arm was blue, and right before my wedding. KED is my go-to place now. The are pleasant and professional, and all the ladies and gentlemen starting lines are so careful. The longest I've waited in the past two weeks for vitals was 15 mins. I am now on my 5th donation.

Instead, I've spent it drafting legal appeals to fight a nursing home discharge based on disputed "non-payment" -- even though I have bank proof that the certified check I delivered was never processed by the facility. My mother, who has advanced dementia, was admitted to Island Lake Center in September 2025 after hospitalization. Since then, I've documented: Failure to provide dementia-focused care or arrange neurology consults Premature Medicare termination despite ongoing skilled nursing needs Hygiene neglect -- I found her wearing another resident's clothes A certified check for $1,034.32 that I personally delivered, which the facility never deposited but claims as "non-payment" Refusal to provide basic billing records showing proper Medicare/Medicaid classification Navy Federal Credit Union confirmed my check was never negotiated. I've repeatedly offered to resolve the payment with proper documentation. Instead of reconciling the account, the facility issued a 30-day discharge notice. This isn't just about my mom. Charged for physical and when infomed by Cigna they reimburse because it was a physical appointment not a well visit. Most recently I went back for blood work results and I explained what happened in the past and they denied and still charged a copay for just giving results of blood work. Left 4 messages via their texting and never received a response. Was informed that location has been split and patients have been divided between two doctors now. Never have patients been informed! Practice is unprofessional.
