No stars, Hands down the worst banking experience I have ever had. No access to accounts unless you drive to their branches to pull out money. It took over a month to receive my card. And by that time I already closed my account. They failed to process two separate wire transfers . I would set them up and they would forget to send them. Said it is an internal issue. Does not provide checks to allow access to your money while you wait for the cards. We live 1.5 hours away from the branch office and had to drive several times to get things corrected. The branch managers were not helpful. when we deposited a check they gave us a receipt with the days that the money should release. And they turned around and said they were incorrect. Was closing on a property and money was for earnest money. Was told all well . We can't release the money until we have the funds available. The check was legit and we were treated like thieves . Told it was suspicious activity to deposit A check and have it wired to a title company . We would have given the title company cash but eh they seem to frown on that. So we had to have them wire it to them. This company is an absolute joke . Don't get an account with them if you plan on using your money. read more

I would not recommend doing business with this credit Union. I have had my account hacked with fraudulent activity and they have been anything but helpful. The canned responses I have received from my four inquiries with each individual at the branch that I use, is that it can take up to 10 business days. In today's world of technology, two weeks is not acceptable. The bottom line is their customer service is really BAD. Called the Bans home office to talk with a corporate representative who attempted to transfer me to the fraud unit. She wound up transferring me to a "Fiid Bank" service Company. WOW!!!! read more

Had savings account with them... they didn't have my most recent mailing address, so instead of just emailing me (Because who would use email in 2023 right?!?!) they started charging me a $10 monthly fee for not having accurate address. And disabled my online account login credentials so that any electronic communications didn't work either... Fast forward almost two years later, I get a credit notification that they are closing my accounts and sorry but all the fees we charged are not refundable. and this is why the big banks keep taking market share... read more

I've been a member of OneAZ for twenty years. My accounts were recently compromised and I needed a letter from OneAZ to one of my sources of income, a legit company who holds an annuity from which I get funds monthly. The annity company asked simply for a letter on letterhead stating my new account number, the contract number, annuitant name and that the letter was signed. OneAZ refused. I got their standard form letter, unsigned because "we don't do that" which they sent encrypted and when I tried to send it to the annuity conpany it came with a virus warning. I am out a lot of money for at least a month while they mail the letter to me - they refused to mail it diretly to the annuity holder. So, I need to wait for it, mail it and hope for the funds which are very much needed to get to me. I've asked nothing of this credit union for many many years and they can't type me a letter. I am looking for a new bank. Customer service is a thing of the past. read more

we made a deposit, it was a bank draft from Ireland written on a US chase account, the credit union accepted it and the deposit went into our account, a few days later we got a message the deposit was withdrawn from our account and referred back to the original bank. the original bank has said they can do nothing as the draft has been cashed, one AZ says it with the original bank, and nothing they can do, It has been 6 months, My money is gone and this credit union is who cashed the draft, and started this mess, no one will take responsibility and my money is missing read more

Absolutely one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with in life. Would not do any business with them ever in the future. This company is the most inconsiderate unorganized and does not care for their clients. They have this ridiculous rule stating that a person is only able to have a late fee waiver once and a lifetime within a six year auto loan. And apparently the workers do not actually document the conversations that they have with the clients I recently received a late fee for my car note which was late because the company decided to charge me double instead of my normal bill amount without sending me notification that my bill was going to be higher. So I asked for a late the waiver since I was not advised prematurely of the amount that was going to be charged to me, so I could've prepared myself to be paying double the company was very inconsiderate. Did not care about what type of mind they were putting me in and did not care about where this some extra money was coming from, and not to mention after I made the payment that they were asking for on top of the late fee I contacted customer support through email or messenger and the agent told me I never made a payment! The agent kept me on hold kept giving me the runaround and refusing to respond to me until I requested to speak to the supervisor then all of a sudden she found the transaction. Highly unprofessional do not do not do business with this company ever if you buy a car with any company and they tell you, your loan is going through one az credit union run like hell! read more

Update: I wanted to update this out of respect for them responding to customers and updating policies. You can now call in and have money transferred for principal only from an internal account. I've updated their review to 4 stars for this change. If they made it possible within the app or online, I would make it 5 stars. Rates were good but they don't have the ability to make extra principal only payments online. They want you to physically go in the branch to do so which doesn't work if you move. read more

I like the people at One AZ Credit Union, but I don't think they are listening to me. I took out a mortgage with them. I returned paperwork for direct withdrawal out of my checking account for my monthly payment in exchange for a .25 point off my mortgage TWICE. Two different times. And we discussed the direct withdrawal on the phone. Yet, I was not given the .25 point discount. Now they settled with me by offering me $10,000, which was generous of them. Then I asked for a credit card associate to remove a couple of fraudulent charges. I gave her both dates of the transactions with identical amounts. Only one charge was removed by her. I also have two accounts. I asked to add a signatory to one of the accounts. I don't know how the communication broke down, but the signatory was added to both accounts. I thought I was clear with my directions, but maybe I wasn't. The people here are very pleasant and nice and seem to want to help, but be very cautious and don't be afraid to watch them do their work looking over their shoulders. read more

I have been a member for 12 years, using many of their services -- mortgage, HELOC, various checking and savings accounts, bill pays, money transfers -- in person, online and through mobile app services. I have bought and sold three houses during that time, all involving OneAZ in some way. I no longer consider them for complicated transactions. As of now, I am changing banks entirely. Their interest rates for both loan and deposit accounts are much better than average. However, their service is unreliable. I have had too many errors made and too many minor flaws in instructions to continue. As one example, during one real estate transaction, the loan rep actually stated he forgot to accomplish a particular task, resulting in a $300 additional charge on my account. He had no interest in fixing the situation -- until I demanded he do so. If you have a simple financial situation, OneAZ may be fine for you. Otherwise use another bank. read more

Instead you get transferred to the Philippines to speak to someone who has no authority to fix any problems. Just to waste your time! Any REAL bank can handle just about any problem on a Saturday. I've been banking with OneAz for over 19 years. I have a credit card I've had with them for 12 years. I received a letter saying they were going to shut the account when the card expired at the end of April for inactivity unless I contacted them. I went into the QC branch and talked to the teller. She made a phone call and after the call she said the account wouldn't be closed and my new cards would be mailed out in 14 days. 21 days later no cards, I called the CU and was told the account was closed at the end of March. I told the person on the phone that was impossible as I used it on April 12. He told me I was wrong. I have the receipt showing me the date of April 12. The person on the phone refused to do anything about my account being closed. I'm done with OneAz. I'm closing my all my accounts and going to a different credit union. read more

If you are a business owner don't waste your time! I had to produce more docs than applying w SBA for my business. I was just trying to help my son get a used car & I have excellent credit. After 5 day's I gave up as they asked for the same information for 3 days in a row! It was just a 12,000 loan as a 3rd party lender & rates sounded great but we almost lost the car. They don't return calls as promised & beyond frustrating to work with. Plus they ran my credit twice! PASS & don't waste your time like I did with this bank! Horrible experience from the beginning. If I could do zero stars I would. My son 18yo went to withdraw money from his account that he had transferred from his other bank so he could withdraw it. The money cleared his one account and showed available for withdrawal. He went to get the money and the teller in the bank flagged his account as suspicious and would not give him his money. They called me to come in and talk to them. Keep in mind this is an adult with a Valid drivers license and they requested his parent to come in. They asked so many questions which honestly none of them were valid. It is his money in his account and he has an ID. Give him his money. Eventually the did after they threatened him that if he didn't tell the truth this was going to be much worse. What a terrible bank! As soon as he gets his direct deposit changed we will be closing this account and I will tell everyone I know to not bank there. I think what they did was illegal and if not very close. read more

I have been waiting more than 4 hours and have called 3 other times and still have not gotten a response or call back. They are terrible. read more

The Teller named McKenna at the Arrowhead area location in Glendale (8285 W. Union Hills) is totally capable of all her responsibilities and seems to always have a good attitude no matter what kind of day it's been there. This has been noted during maybe a dozen visits for various transactions in 2021-2022. Other Tellers at various branches I visit in the Valley of the Sun are also very good or even excellent but McKenna is worthy of recognition. Usually, my in-person experiences in Flagstaff have been wonderful. For the most part they have a great Flagstaff team. Local gets a 5 on the average interaction. The distance branches outside of Flagstaff however, bring this rating lower because many things have to go through them... Their mortgage people: I had to remind of certain mathematical and regulation protocols. Frustrated to say the least. 2 would be a generous rating. However, my interactions with my credit card... Problematic. They recently cancelled my card without my permission. During a quarantine! I have medications I require to live off of. I only have the one credit card. Guess I'll be changing that soon. But I'm still waiting to get the new card and, as I told them, I need to purchase certain necessities like medications and some food right now and can't have no card to use. I don't think it's right for them to have done that and I'm pretty reasonably upset... Hope everyone is doing well, staying healthy and as optimistic as possible right now! read more

I have these guys for 5 years as my main bank And just moved to Michigan. I had an overdraft charge from Netflix and for some reason went through twice. I was not notified and I do not check on this Account often because I thought I closed out all of my subscriptions through them. Had no problem paying them back and taking the Nick of 2 overdraft charges. Which i'm not someone who has a lot of Overdraft charges in my history with this bank, so forgiveness should have been A possibility, but they denied it. So my next move was to pay them off. And being in Michigan now. The only way I could do that was by sending them a check. I do not Use checks nor do I know how to and the nearest place. I can get a service check Made is about 45 minutes to a hour away Yes, I live in a very remote place. I've tried multiple times to tell them. I'm trying to figure out how I can get them there. Money cause they won't accept my debit card or a credit card. To pay a total of $78 They have now close to my checking account And on top of it have closed my credit account with them. This has hurt my credit score. I have a clean record of paying all of my debts on my credit Accounts Until now And I've been trying to give them their money. I have no need to hang on to $78 But due to their policies, I have now lost a checking account, a credit account and my credit score has been hurt. Due to this, I do not recommend this bank for bad policy uses. And no acceptions towards receiving money such as my situation, which is ridiculous. Due to this, my sister and my brother have also closed their accounts due to complications in the past, and mine on top of it. Have given them a bitter taste. Once again, I'm very responsible with handling my debts. But this was never communicated with me. That I had it in the first place until I found out that my account was being closed. And then my largest line of credit was also shut down in the process once again due to their policy. read more
