Just when my husband were about to give up our search, we found Emporium. How is it that we've…read morelived in Ottawa for years now and not known that it existed? Apparently they've been there for 32 years at that location. High quality solid wood furniture. Large selection. Custom available. GREAT service. Ryan can discuss your needs with you, and takes your investment seriously, both financially, and for the comfort and pleasure of your home. Good design sense. I *highly* recommend you visit Emporium!

It is now 14 weeks later and we still do not have our furniture. Multiple phone calls to the owners have been made and we still do not know when we will receive our table and chairs. We were led to believe that our furniture was being made by the owners and they finally admitted during my last phone call to them that our order has been out sourced. Where and to whom I do not know. I made a down payment that I truly regret making. I will never purchase anything from the Emporium again and caution everyone to avoid custom orders at this store because the owners over promise, raise expectations, and do not meet their deliverable deadline. Further, they have misrepresented themselves as on site furniture makers. We fell for a great sales pitch and are now dealing with poor excuses. We have a sinking feeling that we may never receive our table and chairs. If the owners treat everyone this way, they do not deserve business.

Thanks to Jennifer Curry , a seasoned designer and professional I could not be happier. Jennifer's product knowledge and sense of design made me feel confident that I was in capable hands. From start to finish Jennifer followed up with me through each phase of the project. When the delivery of my kitchen sink was delayed, her dedication to customer service kicked into full gear and resolved to issue very quickly. I really appreciated that. I want to give a shout out to the TGi team who made this project come together. Each and everyone involved was professional and brought their " A" game . A shout out to Steph who templated the job. He is a mathematician genius. The installers , Mohammed , Damien, Malek and Nath. Bashir, Felipe and his assistant. There is one other installer whose name I didn't catch. I don't want to leave him out. And to Diego, thank you for picking up your phone when I called to get an up date. I truly appreciated it.

So happy with the quality of the product but also the install and professionalism. The gentleman who came to measure and install were fantastic! We've had our counters in about a month. We were even able to get a cutting board out of it for an added piece for hot stuff . Very happy. Definitely recommend this business.

Wow! What took me so long to come in here? Then when I do, it's mere moments before closing! On the…read moreother hand, maybe that's a good thing, as I can then only do so much damage to the wallet! I can understand why quilters get such a stash too... very tempting, although I don't sew much. This shop has a section for yarn, but the quilting and sewing side has more variety in it. I was tempted by a lovely apron, which is funny because I don't ever wear one! Maybe I would though... if it looked like this, and if I made it myself! They offer some upscale yarns in here that were heaven to sink my hands into. I managed to walk away with "only" 2 skeins, which will be for a project for me; I'm thinking mittens, but we shall see. I recently purchased the new knitting book called "Saltwater Mittens", which contains patterns that are supposed to represent Newfoundland, and I'm just itching to get going on a few of these patterns! They have a knit-night on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 8:00. Now that it's on my radar, I will keep this in mind so that I can spend more time looking around. And oh yeah, knitting! LOL I will definitely be back.

What’s new you say? If you are into knitting/crochet, you will be pleased to know that we now carry beautiful materials, patterns, notions and classes for you as well!
