I had my car towed in after being broken down for 3 months with a dead battery. Before the battery died, some coworkers and I used an OBD scanner and detected 3 codes. I called One Time Auto and told them briefly what codes were showing up, and also that the battery was dead. The guy told me just get the car to us, and we can work on it. Naturally, they wanted to do their own diagnosis, and I could purchase a battery after they found out what was wrong. Later that day, I got a call saying "your battery is dead". No shit!!! So I purchased a new battery and have had it since then at the shop. I then got another call that the car was ready to be picked up because they needed the space. The next morning, I went to pick up my car, and the first thing the guy at the counter said was Oh yeah, your battery was dead, so we replaced the battery and an air filter. $452, he said NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT it drove fine. My car had a rough idle before, and it was even worse when I got it back. It's idling at almost 3 without going down hardly at all. All kinds of lights are on, and I am out of $652 for a battery and air filter installation. That's probably why the name is One Time Auto. They only had one time to get me. Do not go here. I didn't mention, but I'm a female. They really got me. Even had the nerve to say the battery is reset, the car runs fine, no check engine while they had it, but if it comes on, bring it back and they will check it. That's what they were supposed to do from the beginning. Not a recommended shop. read more

Ameer saved the day. Me and my girlfriend were on a roadtrip when my truck broke down and began making an aweful clattering noise. I found One time auto on a Google search and figured I'd take a chance in hopes of saving my 89 Suburban. I assumed the worst and mentioned to Ameer that I thought it could be the transmission or transfer case. One Time Auto Repair was recommended to me by another one of their customers. I've been trusting Ameer with my car for about a year, and I have to leave a review. I recently visited Ameer with numerous issues that I had been neglecting. I'm passing down my car to my younger brother, who is moving for college, so fixing these things in my car was especially important. 1) My front two doors wouldn't lock automatically. 2) My original key fob broke when I dropped it. 3) My driver-side-view mirror had been hit and the shell broke. Ameer not only fixed everything above, he also added on an oil change and ordered me two new key fobs. He has worked on my transmission fluid and my engine in the past, as well. These fixes were especially important as I want to make sure my brother is driving a safe car. Ameer has always taken the time to share what's wrong with my car, without layers of jargon. Highly recommend this shop. Before coming to One Time Auto Repair I had a mechanic ruin my engine entirely with metal shavings running through the engine. I wasn't sure how bad the damage was but when I came to Ameer(One Time Auto Repair shop owner) he knew what was going on and tackled it correctly. After diagnosing what was going on we decided to rebuild the engine. I was skeptical of having a new mechanic do this type of work on my car but he was communicative and knowledgeable through the entire process. This guy and his employees know their stuff really well. Extremely patient with my million questions and concerns that I had. Financially flexible, schedule flexible, etc. On top of the engine rebuild, he fixed a couple terrible suspension/power steering problems I had.
