If you have nice or undamaged rims, I suggest taking photos of your rims before getting new tires. Better yet, get tires from a place that doesn't have the highest employee turnover rate in the industry and trains their employees thoroughly. I learned this info after the fact and regret going to discount tire. Techs are encouraged to work fast and hard, turning highest volume as possible. This leads to carelessness and mistakes. The work areas have the wheel mounting hardware spread out everywhere on the ground. Very haphazard organization. The parking lot is littered with bits and pieces of hardware. I will go back to my previous tire shop because it is not worth sacrificing trying to save a little money. read more

The gentleman I spoke with about getting tires was super helpful. Recommended tires that fit our budget and did nothing to hurt our EV range. Quiet and excellent off road so far. Deducting a star for the following: - for some reason they messed with my tonneau cover installation. I had to go buy some bolts that they removed and didn't put back in. - charged for disposal even though we took the tires with us (brand new oems with 500 miles on them) - a single tire was severely under-inflated at 35 PSI Would come back despite minor issues. read more

Fixed multiple flat tires for me over the past few years for FREE. Tire rotations are FREE even if you didn't buy tires from them! Wait times have always been very reasonable. Shortest I've waited was 45 mins and longest was maybe 1 hr 20 mins. Will be dependent on the day, time, staffing, etc but overall very positive. They price match Amazon, Walmart, Costco, etc. Walk-ins are available too for emergencies!! Compared to Costco's tire department, Costco takes WAY TOO LONG. I went to a shop who fixed the front end but didn't align or balance my car so my steering wheel was way off and the car was shaking like crazy. I took it to discount tire and it cost $110.99 for a 4 wheel alignment and balance (I did not buy my tires there) and my car drives amazingly! one of my tire sensors was just hanging and they replaced that for free. Employees are always friendly and helpful. I placed an order and appointment online but unfortunately the manufacturer stopped selling what I was after. I was called by the store to let me know, they were able to point me to a couple alternatives that they could have by the time my appointment came up. I was not a fan of spending more but the options were good to me. They got me in and adjusted the order and will still get me out the door as planned. I have been very pleased purchasing tires and rims for my cars here. The online ordering is so convenient especially when I like to tire shop late at night. Service is always outstanding and quick. I came here for a new wheel after a recommendation from a well-rated private repair shop. Surprisingly, many repair shops and Les Schwab do not replace wheels (wheels--not tires). I made an appointment for a weekday (they say wait time is 30% less if you have an appointment). There were several people in the waiting area, which is bright and open. It took about 1.25 hours for my car to be finished. They ended up evaluating my wheel and were able to remove the corrosion instead of needing to replace the wheel altogether. (The estimate for a new wheel was at least 75% cheaper than at the dealership) After a windshield wiper replacement, the total cost was $16! I think this was just the cost of the new wiper. This seems like a nice, honest, reasonably priced, and helpful shop for tires, wheels, and wipers. They also have a drive-up tire pressure check line! read more

I am so impressed by the customer service here that I am leaving a review. In an age of distance and eroding personal customer service, these guys here are champions in going above and beyond to please! I came in because I had a slow leak in my rear tire and I heard that Discount Tire fixes slow leaks for free. They looked at my vehicle swiftly, even though they were busy. Unfortunately I had a sidewall bubble with internal tire band damage and was not reparable. Me being strapped for cash at the moment told them to put it back on and I'll come back later. The manager seemed a bit concerned of my safety, and after looking for a used tire and me giving up, he approached me with a solution using a slightly bigger tire but compatible and in good shape. He made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I got to say, they also match Costco low price sales. They guarantee the lowest price. I found this out today waiting In the lobby and over hearing other customers buying tires. I gotta say, this place has some good people running the place and the tire guys in the shop were all smiles and competent at the same time. Eider location in Hillsboro OR. Routine tire rotation and pressure check with a standard sensor reconnect. Mentioned the sensor reconnect in the online appt app, and again to the check in rep. So, the techs that did the work did not put in all the wheel cap screws. They also decided not to tell me hoping I would not notice. They lost screws after it was in the bay. They also did not reconnect the sensors as requested so I email and call them on it, and I get a stock song and dance, but no path to resolve it. I send them a link to get replacement screws for $6.95, and that's been ignored. I don't care about the money, it's the lack of accountability - the deception. They had a chance to do the right thing and opted not to. I'm talking in part to you Arthur Lindquist. No accountability or follow through. Loss of long-term business for such an inconsequential amount of money time. For a lot of folks, making silly mistakes, while lacking accountability and follow through is enough to compromise one's job security. Nice work if you can get it I suppose. read more

Purchased tires and setup the installation time online. Arrived and was told that the tires that I purchased was apparently placed on another vehicle in error? I was given a choice for a lower ply tire by the same manufacturer but I didn't want those. I was then told that their usual shipment from the warehouse arrives around 3pm. This was now 8:15am and I had arranged for alignment to be done at 4pm, so no go. They finally decided to have someone drive over a set from another location. I had my new set of tires and put the door at 9:30. During my waiting period, it was pretty obvious that the entire team there kept their composure in a pressure environment and worked quickly. EXCELLENT FAST SERVICE AND FREE ROTATIONS AND REPAIRS We were received with a big smile by a very PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE who started by checking the thread level on the tires. Since the tires on this car are less than 2 years old and they're not that worn, he advised we waited for the next rotation before considering replacing them. I just loved his HONESTY! He then asked me to sign and provide my credit card and there was no charge, just "for incidentals". The promised waiting time was 45 minutes (Although it only took them ONLY 30 MINUTES!). The waiting area (With about 12 seats and 2 tables) has magazines, free bottled water, free coffee and free Internet. Waiting 30 minutes while browsing on the web seemed like 8 minutes. When checking out, they had not only rotated the tires and repaired my flat tire, but also replaced the TPM (Tire Pressure Monitoring) sensor in the tire they replaced and added the hub caps to all tires. Somehow, these always go missing, I guess I need to remove them after I park the car at night or at the office! To top it off, the employee who explained what they did and gave me the keys told me THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR ALL THEIR WORK! I had to ask him if he was sure and he laughed. I insisted again and he replied with the same "We do NOT CHARGE FOR ROTATIONS NOR FLAT REPAIRS". Since I'm really bad at carrying cash with me and couldn't tip them, I'll stop by an ATM and get some cash for them. We WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK when we need any tires. read more

Every time I've needed to rotate my tires - moreso because I always get an email from them reminding me to come. I haven't had any issues - the employees here are great. It does get extremely packed, probably due to the location, but they try their very best to get everyone checked in and situated. I am currently thinking about getting some rims from here and I was told to go onto their website and plug in my vehicle make/model and check out the different rim options they have. It's pretty cool because it gives you a view of how the rims would look on your car, with the color of your car and everything. Decent prices for rims and tires. I've been bringing all my cars here for tires for the last 6 years, but after this last visit, I'll have to start searching for a new tire shop. I had purchased 4 new "100K mile rated" tires through Discount Tire Direct and had them installed by this shop back in 2015. The last time I had brought the car in for rotation about a year ago, the sales guy told me that they only had 4/32 on the treads and they couldn't rotate them anymore. Well one of the tires went flat with a cracked sidewall after only 40K miles. Brought it back to get some new tires, guy named Ken checks out the car and tells me that there's 4/32 on the treads and they could have rotated them back then. So the last sales guy lied to me. Anyway, need new tires now so we step inside. Ken tells me that they have no record of me buying these tires there, so I can't get the warranty credit on the tires. He searches several times, no dice. I take a minute on my phone and find the order receipt as well as the email from this particular location thanking me from my business. Suddenly, my service record is in the system. They only have 3 different tires in stock at this location that fit my car. He starts pushing me on the in-house brand tire. I first ask him to calculate how much I'm getting back for the warranty credit, takes him a while to figure out. I choose the cheaper tire instead and end up only paying $66 out of pocket for 4 new tires w/install. Ken is not happy. He schedules the swap and tells me it would be about 45 minutes...great! Then he backtracks and tells me that since I didn't have an appointment it would be at least 2 hours. OK... To be fair, the place was really packed and there were a lot of cars waiting. The installation guys have always done a great job and they actually got the swap done ahead of schedule in 1.5 hours. TLDR: Installation guys get a 5 star rating, older staff (pre-2020) gets 5 stars, newer staff gets 1 star, 3 star average. read more

These guys always look like they're hustling (as in working hard, not overselling) and usually when I'm in for a service like tire rotation they are done faster than anticipated.
