Do not go here. The owner seems nice but they are tricky. I bought some tires that were advertised as having 90% tread left. The next day I was looking at the tires and was getting a little skeptical about the 90% tread left so I bought a tread depth gauge and measured all of the tires. They are not 90%. One tires is at 80% and the rest are at 65% at best. What a scam. Also when I got home I notice a nail or screw in one tire so I drove right back and they told me I must have just gotten it when I was driving home. I live 1 mile from there and the nail that was in there looked like it had been there a while.... so it's highly unlikely I just ran over it on the way home. I have Falken Wildpeak 275/70/17 Load C installed on my 2023 4Runner ORP. Not a single shop could balance these tires. I tried several shops, including two service departments in the Portland Metro & suburban areas. I have had multiple balances performed, both traditional and road force with match mounting. I also had Toyota verify the suspension, drive shaft alignment, wheel bearings, rotors, calipers, etc. No one could solve the steering wheel shake between 50-70. I lost count as to how many shops I visited vs. balances and multiple configurations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Anyway, my search continued and today I found Tire Depot. After explaining my situation, they suggested "Balance Beads"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Not only were they open on Sunday, but one of the only shops in the area that includes Balance Beads installation as a service. The procedure required 30 minutes of my time, only cost 100.00 parts and labor and the result is shockingly good!! No more vibrations at any speed. The tires feel perfectly balanced from 0-75 mph. FINALLY. I can enjoy my commute and weekend road trips again. Your mileage may vary, what worked for me might not work for you. I have larger heavier than stock tires. I use to come here because they have a large selection of used tires. The owner Duane, who seems like a nice guy actually is the biggest con-artist in the entire Portland Metro area. I have never in my life felt so dooped by someone. He has a bunch of tires he falsely advertises as good condition, but really they are all the dealership take-off tires that cannot be reused because of LOW TREAD. Granted, a business is a business but where things take a turn is the people who work there and their "customer service." I have a 2016 BMW 2 series that needed two front tires. They had two Michelin Pilot Sports advertised as 80%, but when I showed up they were past the wear bars. I needed them so I had no choice but to buy them. The person who was doing the labor literally KICKED my wheel 8-10 times full force to try to get it off, while smoking a cigarette spreading ashes all over my car. They took the "used" worn tires off my car and labeled them and put them in the container for sale...THIEF!! #1 - I was taking them off because they were completely bald, and on top of everything tried to #2 Charge me a disposal fee, and #3 I planned to take them back with me and he loaded them into his containers and said "he wasn't sure where they went" Then he went to go mount the tires on and completely scratches my wheels, not a little ding, but ALL THE WAY AROUND. How careless can you be? The tire machine has an adjuster so you don't have to scratch it. You literally just have to set it.... I tried to stay calm and communicate with the owner and I told him the wheels had no rash at all on them, and fortunately took a photo of them before the guy scratched them all up. I have time-stamped proof that they were not damaged before and I took a picture afterwards. So yes, I am taking them to small claims court. He basically told me that I should do what I gotta do but he will not take any responsibility for damaging my wheels or for his worker kicking my car. I have spoken to my lawyer, the BBB in Oregon, and Craigslist (because he does not pay for his DEALER posts and posts as consumer - get ready for some $5000 fines for each item posted!) I will be contacting the media and news channels to report the scam this guy is upto and make sure nobody purchases anything from him again. Owner Dwayne. Took complete advantage of my son an 18 year old kid and sold him 2 unusable tires for an all wheel drive SUV. They are at the wear bars and when I took them to another independent shop they said they would have not mounted the tires and there is no useable life left in the tires. Called to discuss with Dwayne and he refuses to refund the $150 for the tires. I didnt ask for the mount fee or dismount fee but the price of the unusable tires he sold my son as that seemed fair. Dwayne admits to knowing the application and that the tires he sold are not within 3/32 of tread from the existing set but will not refund the price. Did not issue a receipt nor disclaim that no refunds are given and he blames my 18 year old for not being knowledgeable about tires. Well avoid this shop. Just a few days ago I experienced a flat tire due to a one inch steel projectile that found its way into the center of my Michelin tire. First I took the tire to a Discount Tire store in Tigard, Oregon. Then I took the tire to a Les Schwab tire store near me (By Washington Sq.) Both stores told me that the diameter of the puncture was too large to repair. Neither store had the same tire available since it was discontinued. Preferring to locate the same tire I called Tire Depot. Dwayne, the owner told me that they had over 20,000 tires and might have one or they would have a full set with like 80% tread wear remaining. The next day I went there and while the manager searched for a matching tire or a nice set he mentioned that I had a great set of tires and that he could possibly patch my tire. In less than an hour he had the tire repaired and on the car and the best thing was it only set me back $40. Having driven the car for over 100 miles since there has been no problem. I have purchased a full set of tires from Tire Depot in the past and have been very satisfied. We have a late model Subaru. When we went to drive the car one afternoon, we noticed that the tire pressure indicator was on. After inspecting the tires, we noticed that one had a crack in the sidewall, which is not repairable. We drove to Costco to plunk down $700 on a set of new tires (since all four tires have to be replaced together on an AWD vehicle). They did not have the tires in stock and were no longer taking appointments for the day. This was on a Sunday. We did a quick search for tire shops nearby that are open on Sunday. We happened upon Tire Depot, that was fairly close to home and was open on Sunday. They have thousands upon thousands of used tires in stock, so we thought we'd drive by to see if they had a used tire of the same make and close to the same level of wear as our current tires. Well, as luck would have it, they did! It had 0.5 less wear on it than our current tires, but close to within the 2/32 difference required by Subaru. They were busy! Lots of people apparently shopping for tires on a Sunday. The staff were running around helping everyone in a courteous manner, even though there were many customers. Duane (the owner, I assume) pulled up as we arrived. He helped us right away to find the appropriate tire. He had a list with the tires he has in stock with the tread depth of each tire. He found one that was within spec and mounted and balanced the used tire and had it mounted and balanced and on our car within about 20 minutes. The Price seemed a little high, at $90 for a used tire, but fair for the age of the tire and service offered. Great shop if you're in need of a used tire, or you discover that you need a tire in a pinch on a Sunday. Duane saved us about $600 today. Thank you, Duane and staff at Tire Depot!
