He explained all of the options, comfort levels, etc. We let him know that these kids were sleeping on the floor, soo he was able to get an opening for a Thursday delivery verses Saturday! We also let him know that they were poor college students & he gave them additional 10% off of the sale price & offered them free delivery to Stevens Point. This was all wonderful...but the most important part of our visit was when my son accidentally overpaid Chris Heufer an additional $20-$25... As my son wasn't aware of & Chris recounted the money & said "Hey, you overpaid me"!!!! Thanks for being so ethical. That is very hard to find these days! Thanks for a great experience! I'd give the store 5 stars but lowered it to 3 due to the company's refusal to exchange my horrible tempur-pedic mattress that is nothing like advertised. I wake up every morning feeling like I have a broken collarbone and store stiff hips. The bed is far too stiff for side sleeping which is the majority of my nightly sleep. I took delivery in April of 2023 so it's been roughly a year and a month if you factor in the 120 night sleep trial. I was told by mattress firm that the bed needed time to break in. After a year the only thing breaking in feels like my shoulders and hips. Tempur-pedic claims no pressure points yet I'm tossing and turning several times a night in discomfort. I contacted the company directly and was essentially told to kick rocks and live with my 3600$ mattress (which i still owe 1500 on) that I can barely sleep on.

Very deceiving from the street. Very nice selections of all interior things you could need! Lots of "lake house and north woods" decor. We picked a bed (lots to choose from) and all of the name brands. They delivered it the next day. After we slept on it we thought it was a little harder than we liked and they replaced it with the next softer model the next day with no hassle or questions! We have a lot to buy for the home and plan on doing all of it here. Highly recommend stopping in and the prices are Very reasonable too! Happy with all of our choices and the service. I was sold a warranty to protect furniture from accidental and incidental damage and wear and tare…read more There was an issue that was repaired under the manufacturers warranty. I had issues with the furniture wearing out cushion covers are fraying and now look terrible. I thought no big deal I purchased the warranty that was all inclusive. That warranty i found goes through furniture protection, and they decided that they will not cover any repairs. I called Ashley and asked for a refund on the warranty and was told that it would be prorated. I explained that the first call they refused to repair anything! I asked for a full refund and was told that was not possible so basically if you purchase the warranty then you will be paying for nothing, The equivalent of paying for a mythical being like Santa Clause and they will keep your money and let you pay for some idiot to sit in there office and say you were paying for the coverage that never really existed.

To be honest , I feel the location is great, plenty of displays to look at, but the pricing and…read morethe way they do things is often misleading and in the end almost deceptive. We left there feeling frustrated, exhausted from the amount of time it took and really wish we had shopped around more , which we will do ni the future. Also beware that if you see something in the store you like , like a lamp or chair, coffee table, painting , even if it has a price tag on it, you wont be able to take it with you that day. They will have to order it for you and have it shipped to you! Because of that, they lost probably close to 700.00 in business we would have given them that day in rugs, lamps, and other accessories we would have just bought and taken home had that been an option. Since we were going to have things shipped we opted to go home, go online and order that way, saved us a ton of money too. I also think the delivery fee for an in town delivery is a bit high, especially if you have an order over 1000.00 Again go online.. you can get free delivery from many places and the same or similar items at lower costs and avoid all the hassle of the in person location. I also dont like how they stalk you the second you walk in the door, even if you call you cant get a simple question answered without knowing if you have a saleman or being given one. Its a pretty big turn off.

After a few nights I found the mattress was too hard on my hips, making recovery more challenging. The Sleep Shop said they could help with another mattress that would be more comfortable on my hips. Not only were they able to "manufacture" the new upgraded mattress, they also assembled a team to deliver it before end of day.
