This is our primary go-to for adult beverages, as it's on the way home from work, and a quick in and out. It's obviously much more limited than a traditional package store, but makes up for it in convenience. Limited parking spaces out front, plus there's usually an off-duty ambulance parked in the handicapped space. Entrance to parking lot/gas pumps from Tapley/Bay St. is super bumpy. Cops are usually parked two at a time on site. The Dunkin' Donuts here is the second worst in the area (worst goes to the Irving Station off of Roosevelt and Bay St.) Their coolattas/frozen coffees are NEVER frozen and always only slightly slushy. Donuts are stale, too. Weird drive-thru set up, only accessible from the side of the building closest to St. James Ave. Other than some minor issues (like those mentioned above), this is a quick and easy stop for almost anything you need or forgot about... including, apparently, the Valentine's Day flowers I received. LOL.

It's big and clean and the staff are friendly. Theres always something to buy like at a rest stop off the turnpike; treats, drinks, magazines, souvenirs, etc. The gas is cheap and even cheaper when you use your stop and shop card points. Typically, I don't review gas stations but this one is pretty new, clean, and large. There's an electric vehicle charging station, diesel, gasoline, and a Dunkin attached. When we went, the drive through was not ready yet but it looks like there will be one. There are restrooms and plenty of snacks and drinks to choose from. They also serve coffee, breakfast, grinders, and ice cream.

They've just been open for two weeks and offered a rock-bottom gas price of just $2.89 a gallon. Oh, and by the way, they have an incredibly sweet number of 16 gas pumps. It was one of my cheapest fill ups in quite a while. After I gassed up, I went inside to check out the store and buy a lottery ticket. Well, they've been open for such a short time they're not quite ready to start pumping out those tickets yet. Their spacious convenience store was neat as a pin and stocked to overflowing, and I saw a Dunkin' counter way off to the left. The young lady at the convenience store register was personable and very friendly when I chatted with her about the place. Noble's website says they are "a Connecticut-based business bringing high-end automobile re-fueling centers to New England". There's a few of them around Hartford and spread across the state. Some have carwashes and EV charging stations, but I think it's too early to see what the Day Hill location will end up with. I saw that Noble is also building a Truck Service and Diesel center pretty much next door at 1966 Day Hill Road. They are a very welcome addition to Day Hill Road and all of its office buildings and commuters.

Even though there's a brand new gas station across the street (that's at least 5 cents higher) This trip was $2.61 a gallon... most stations are around $2.73 The average up to $2.85. They went to Pride to fill their truck and after driving away roughly 2 miles later the truck went dead. Turns out, the Pride stations delivery driver put diesel fuel on the regular gas tank. So anyone filling their vehicles with gasoline was unknowingly filling there vehicles with Diesel. That's fine, mistakes happen but like any good company....it's not how you handle your day to day business (most do a good job or at least strive to do so) but rather how you handle business when things go wrong. What's happened since then is a crime. First off, we were told by the owner (Bob) that he no longer wanted to speak with the woman of the house but rather her husband. Is this the 1950's? When was this ever appropriate!? Secondly, the vehicle that had an issue was brand new and still under warranty. So we brought it to the dealer for service. Bob didn't like that and wanted us to take it to "his guy". Since the vehicle was still under warranty (and frankly even if it wasn't) we felt taking it to the dealer for service was the best option. Come to find out the reason the Bob didn't want us to take it to the dealer is because now that this happened to the truck the and the dealer knows about it, the warranty is null and void. Bob didn't want the dealer to know about this occurrence for obvious reasons. To date, my family member has paid roughly $5,000 to have the vehicle serviced and parts replaced. With each service that was done more were needed after a few days went by and the check engine light would reappear. Each part that came off the vehicle had a distinct smell diesel fuel. Bob is refusing to pay for any of the work because he wanted us to go to his mechanic. In what world is that acceptable?! I've spoken to him several times and if there's a more arrogant, pompous, sexist person in the world I've yet to meet them. Stay away from Pride at all costs. I know they're everywhere but supporting them is supporting this complete A-hole. I for one won't do it.

Had a two piece chicken meal with a side and biscuit and pricewise is not bad deeming the cost is reasonable but to me if have any gripe it'd for me be with the biscuit-you ask why simple I don't mind if the biscuit is good but what I mind is when they put stuff on the biscuit which to me was a bit of an annoyance (honey butter) & that's not what I'm keen upon and for me just keep my biscuits without the stuff cooked into there & for me let me put my butter if I open it. Well overall now you got the call.
