Ethan was well dressed, clean cut and well mannered for a 20 year old. We spent a couple of hours looking at items. Ethan picked up tables and placed them next to a sofa exactly the same as ours. Ethan also called on the lady designer to help my wife find rugs and tables to best match our sofa. We finally found an end table that was perfect for our needs. Ethan had one in stock and unboxed it and wrapped it in bubble wrap and placed it in our suv. This was the most pleasant shopping experience I have had looking at furniture. Most times I am under enthusiastic looking at items over and over. The staff at this Havertys in Tarpon Springs was not close to where we live but it was worth the drive. Ethan helped make our visit pleasant and even the young ladies that processed my credit card were upbeat and very friendly. Even with the highway 19 roadwork making visiting all businesses along that highway difficult I would still send my friends there for their furniture needs and to ask for Ethan Mann to be their salesman.

I say this for a few reasons; #1 Her charisma, charm and personality make it so very easy to deal with her as well as a zero pressure mindset. #2 Her ability to decipher (what I was trying to explain) what I was looking for seemed to be as easy as reading a book. Victoria's ability to turn my words into a visual interpretation of a product (either standard or custom) really helped me decide which direction to go. #3 Her knowledge of what a company like Hudson's has to offer is like none that I have ever dealt with in the past. Whether it's off the floor or a custom piece she will make it happen. #4 This young lady was dressed and acted like a true professional whom takes great pride in what she does. If you acquire any furniture from Hudson's, strongly recommend you DO NOT buy the warranty…read more Hudson's contracts out the warranty to a third party - "Furniture Care Protection" and they have about the worst warranty service one can get. A piece of our purchase failed in under 5 years (a problem in itself) and Hudson's takes no responsibility. Furniture Care Protection has ordered parts and shipped to the wrong address, only to discover the part was not the cause of the failure. 2-16 weeks - yes, two to SIXTEEN weeks to get the next part. Furniture Care Protection is a scam. Hudson's uses that scam company to eliminate their warranty responsibility. Be careful - DON'T buy the warranty, and think twice about Hudson's as they take zero responsibility for their products once it is at your home.

I first tried to shop here over a week ago. I am new to Tampa and had trouble finding it (my issue..not theirs). I called the store at 7:50 pm, closing time is 8pm. Robert, owner and all around good guy, answered and told me he would wait if I wanted to visit the store that night. How many businesses do that? So I went and talked with him about what I was wanting to buy. He explained how it all worked and did not pressure me at all about making a purchase that evening. I took his card and returned today, with clearer ideas of what I wanted to buy. And SURPRISE! HE REMEMBERED ME & the conversation we had had a week earlier. He let me wander through the store and did not circle like most sales reps do. He also had another salesman, Tony, help me with my purchases. I bought a beautiful, queen bedroom set, with an adjustable base and an iComfort (kick ass) mattress all for under $3k. He knocked off $400 from the sale price and honored the $200 Groupon I had (which are still available). He has in store financing available and guaranteed rapid delivery. Granted, his showroom isn't glitzy like some, but the prices were amazing and it was by far, the most enjoyable buying experience I have ever had! I can't say enough about this place! My parents were small business owners so I usually seek the same when shopping. Boy, did I ever find a gem in this place!
